How is NetCup's DDoS protection?

I ordered a netcup VPS and hosted my email service. However, because the websites associated with my domain frequently suffer from attacks such as SYN and UDP reflection amplification, I'm concerned that my email server will also be vulnerable to DDoS attacks. Netcup claims to offer 2Tbps DDoS protection, but I'm not sure if it will help me. Has anyone experienced their DDoS protection, and how effective is it? Will my IP be blackholed if I'm under attack?

I heard that Netcup protection is almost non-existent.

Netcup DDoS protection = nullroute
Maybe they improved it but don't expect much
