The native forum search suck balls for the longest time already. No need to bother with it.
The search on lowendtalk is incredibly slow. 7 minutes sounds a bit extreme, but the "nothing happens" effect is very common.
It's kind of fascinating that a forum that is targeting technical people and hosting providers cant make such a basic thing as a search function work, but here we are.
