Cloudflare just announced Email Sending, a new service that lets developers send transactional emails directly from Cloudflare Workers. Combined with their existing Email Routing, it creates a unified "Cloudflare Email Service."

DNS and SMTP and BGP cease to exist.
Every Internet connection is a direct connection to the nearest Cloudflare colo.
Everyone gets nine Zero Trust tunnels at birth.
If you abuse, the tunnel is deleted.
When you run out of tunnels, you are functionally dead.
They had a bodged solution using MailChannels for a while that could send email from Workers (it sucked tbh).
I wonder if this still uses MailChannels.
That would be perfect, but I'm using Google smtp to use my own domain in Gmail anyway

No tunnels at birth = fetus deletus.
I think about 5$ for 100k, or no reason to switch from SES.
