Need 3-6 Gbps Internet Speed VPS 1-2 TB BANDWIDTH is Enough

I am looking for USA Windows/Linux VPS with high internet speed, ideally between 3-6 Gbps and 1–2 TB bandwidth per month. I do not require large bandwidth usage since the VPS will be used mainly for browsing and general online activities (not for file sharing, downloading, or uploading).

I need a package similar to the one I am currently using, but it is out of stock from my current provider:

  • 6 GB RAM
  • 6 AMD CPU cores
  • \$9/month
  • Internet speed: minimum 3 Gbps, usually between 4–6 Gbps.

Note: Internet speed will be tested through Speedtest.net
using Google Chrome

The price can be slightly higher or lower. I have checked many providers, but most of them offer only 1–2 Gbps internet speed. I hope to find a provider who can offer me 3–7 Gbps internet speed, especially since my bandwidth requirements are not very high.

Thank you.

I have already tried multiple 10 Gbps port VPS from different providers. In most cases, the internet speed was even below 2 Gbps. Only in a few did I get 3+ Gbps.

I need 3–6 Gbps with 1–2 TB bandwidth, that’s enough.
Kindly share the result of a speed test on speedtest.net using Chrome from your VPS.

If I want to buy, where can I contact you? I also need to confirm a few more things.

Thanks for giving me your time.

Minimum 3Gbps? Red flags with this user. Your use case doesn't fit.

With small files from web browsing, getting 4-6Gbps is not practical, especially for browsing. On top of that, getting a single website with that much bandwidth for not sending large files isn't common.

OP, you're only getting 4+Gbps AFTER traffic ramps up (so you need a minimum amount of data) and you need lots of continuously full packets sending as fast as possible.

That's not how https protocol works.

In other words, you're being a spec douche that requests impossible spec that isn't practical.

Also, speedtest website is very clear you need to use the desktop app to get the best speeds.

  • Not sure what the use case here is, especially not sure why the Speedtest.net requirement? If you need consistent speeds, then you should be measuring speeds from your intended content source, not Speedtest.net.

Are you sure that the servers you’re actually trying to access even have > gigabit bandwidth in the first place?

    Thanked by 2mandala tentor
  • Yeah, I wouldn't be using Speedtest.net to measure speeds. It's not that consistent nor reliable. I would use YABS or iperf to do your speed testing. If you need 3-6Gbit, spend some money on a cloud service.

We offer 40G Uplink to all EPYC VPS:
    https://evolushost.com/vps/epyc

  • 3-6 Gbps...

    1-2TB BW..
"browsing and general online activities" You don't even need more then 1Gbps for that.
I suspect OP is asking for 3-6Gbps for VPN/Proxy servers or web scraping, Spam or straight up L7 DDoS "testing". OP, explain your use case since "just browsing" makes no sense.

  • Guys chill 😎,
experts Please don’t stress your brains too much. User just wants to open some websites that crash under heavy traffic. According to him, fast internet makes his work easier. He’s not planning any attacks, just browsing. Superheroes, please relax 😅

  • Some tangential inputs from the Tracker:

    GreenCloud — $45 / year
    4 Epyc Cores (shared)
    8192 MB RAM
    60 GB NVMe
    8000 GB/month bandwidth
    10.0 Gbps port speed
    IPv4 + IPv6
    Hosted in U.S.A. 🇺🇸

    and

    SalmonCloud — $17.65 / month
    8 Epyc Cores (shared)
    8192 MB RAM
    10 GB NVMe
    1024 GB/month bandwidth
    10.0 Gbps port speed
    IPv4 + IPv6
    Hosted in U.S.A. 🇺🇸

Both advertise 10 Gbps, I expect real speeds to be at least 3 Gbps from these providers.

The usage he is mentioning would match with football livestreaming, you need huge burst of speed for 2h to handle large number of users. Streaming at 1mbps which is the lowest watchable bitrate would fully saturate a 1gbps line with 1k users online. Traffic consumption would also match his requirement as you would consume exactly 2TB for 2 hours of this.
