Hetzner and cloudflare PRO... SLOW connection.

Hey,

Just moved my servers from strato.de to hetzner.de , and seems like the connection is very slow when I enable my cloudflare pro for my domains. Sometimes have to wait 20-30 sec to get the first connection. Sometimes fast. Tried on arm, intel, amd with multiple control panels, but still very bad.

I am wondering maybe the peering is very bad to cloudflare, because at strato.de , there wasnt any problem like this. Tried to search in my softwares, but after many reinstalls.. I dont think thats the problem.

Is there anybody who experienced this too?

  • Based on my experience, hetzner servers are blocked by many services, such as payment gateways and back applications. My user case is using VPS for private VPN, so hetzner is totally unusable for that.

Maybe your issue is somewhat connected with that as well.

  • Check domain records most likely you have your domain pointing to multiple IPs faced exact same issue one time where I had two IP for a subdomain and resolution was taking a solid 10-20s just because the one ip was not sending the requested data making the CF to to request the same with other ip.

Thanks, but only one IP pointing. This problem has been solved by moving to https://www.alwyzon.com/en provider.
