Netcup AMS RS 1000 G11 (8GB RAM) for transfer?

Hey guys,

I waited for the Netcup sale last week and was a bit disappointed with only G9.5 root servers.

AMS has been out of stock for a few weeks now and I regret not grabbing it when it was still available!

Does anybody want to get rid of their RS 1000 G11 Root Server in their Amsterdam location?

I have flagged it for mods to correct.

As to answer your question, between Vienna and Nuremberg, Vienna has the best CPU score whilst Nuremberg has ok IO speed comparatively.

    I haven't tried Amsterdam.

I don't know which netcup location is the best, but what can be said is that Amsterdam has better latency to the US (if that matters to you). I would have thought that NUE was better than VIE but as @Protocol903 said, VIE has better CPU formance and network-wise it seems to me that there is no benefit to host in NUE rather than VIE.

As everything is available in VIE and only ARM boxes in AMS, VIE is probably a good choice, unless you have a reason to favor another location.
