The British announced a cyberwar against Russia last year. After that, any claims about support from Aeza hackers controlled by the state look ridiculous. Many people are now wondering what Aeza is. Attempts to connect them with the state seem to be a joke for Russians who know them.
Shady providers operate whole the world. Sometime they are even controlled by state due to various reason, sometimes not. That is know fact that secret services in USA, UK and other countries can implement various "shady" services to detect, investigate and capture real crime peoples. Such activities just hide from community.
Returning to Aeza, in the current situation, anyone living in Russia, doing business in Russia or simply doing business with Russia is subject to Western sanctions due to the war launched by the West against Russia. Most Russian IT companies have already been sanctioned by the West, including Rostelecom and other providers, banks and factories, etc. That's why, of course, we in Russia ignore Western sanctions. The rest of the world also mostly ignores Western sanctions.
@rustelekom sorry I think you mistook this forum for one where someone actually cares
Looks like you mixed up the order of your posts to yourself. But let me help you.
I just tried to explain why the UK "sanctions" are ignored by Russians and others. It's just politics, nothing more or less.
Aeza would need a new ASN and new IPs and a new secret name. Hows actually going, all getting publicly in hours or days. This reassigning of IPs is visible, thats just stupid and its mostly over for them, if they wont find another way.
Nobody's saying they're a Russian-state outfit. The accusation is that they knowingly provided services to Russian state hackers.
It's proven beyond any reasonable doubt that Aeza was hosting the Doppelganger misinformation campaign that targeted Western democracies, which has been attributed to Russian state hacking activity by various intelligence services.
In addition, Aeza also hosted various, (likely non-state aligned), Ransomware groups that solely attacked non-CIS targets for extortion, (including hospitals and other critical services), as well as providing platforms for DDOSing that appear related to Russian-state foreign policy objectives, (i.e. Noname057), although that's likely to be freelancing rather than direct state activity.
It really doesn't matter whether Russians believe it or not. The fact is there's a good reason why the US sanctioned them earlier this year, why the UK just sanctioned them now and why the EU will sanction them soon....and that reason isn't politics, it's simply because they're guilty as fuck.
As I said earlier, they are shady hosts. That is why their top managers were arrested in Russia and that is why they are being investigated for crime here in Russia. |
Regarding the reasons why they were sanctioned by the UK, I could say that there are a lot of shady hosts in the world, and many of them are involved in criminal activity against Russians and Russian companies as well as state services, and usually open just criminal investigations against them. I am very doubtful that Aeza was so big that it required issuing state sanctions. That's why I call these sanctions politicized actions.
If you want stop shady businesses, you have to cut the lines between headquarters and all small businesses. The small ones have to search for new services and are under investigation anyway and getting busted after the big fish went down.
😂😂😂😂😂
PS, the last one feels like a kind of FSB / GRU affiliation.
https://interlan.ru/
They pretend to be an ISP. The website is down. The business is registered to an apartment in a regular residential building in Moscow.
Yet this company is snapping up IP addresses worldwide, across Europe, and in Russia grabbing whatever is available.
Then they handover it to these shady hosters like pq, aeza, 4vps, etc.
How does a company with a non-working website, operating in apartment, have that kind of power?
I guess there’s a sentiment here that Russia’s war in Ukraine is strictly an internal affair that nobody else has any business in. I think you’ll find that this opinion is largely unpopular — even among the rest of the world that doesn’t care about those sanctions. I promise you if one day Russia is invaded by Western Europe, BRICS will definitely be doing those same sanctions against the west
Whether Russian businesses should suffer due to the state’s decisions is another thing, but here we discuss Aeza’s involvement with Russia’s alleged cyberwarfare. Your best argument so far has basically boiled down to “Well I don’t trust the west, I don’t think Aeza had any involvement.”
This is a pretty shit argument, all things considered. Almost as if you made up your mind before you even thought about it.
Russia has already gone forward with large scale blocking of western websites and services. You might argue that this is retaliation since so many companies have stopped doing business in Russia, but the Russian censorship machine has been alive and well for years prior. It’s really hard for me to see the difference between Russia deciding to block a bunch of western websites and the UK forcing Aeza to stop operating. At least from the perspective of a person in Russia, the two are basically identical? Both are simply content based censorship of websites.
Anyway this entire situation is just five levels of whataboutism — there is no right answer to who’s right and who’s wrong.
Works fine from a Russian proxy. Maybe they just disabled access from outside RU
Managed to open from RU proxy.
Website feels like from 1999.

They stated to work since 90s.
Telegram channel was created this year that adevertises other services.
The address is:
Russia, Moscow, 129281, Izumrudnaya St., Building 13, Bldg. 1, Entrance 3
even without the apt number.
https://yandex.ru/maps/-/CLqdI0No
It used to be a common practice to open offices in resident building, but according to current Ru laws, it is not permitted.
Also, do not see any logo or any sign where to find this company.
Imho, very suspicious, that such company is "head" to pq, aeza...
Accodring to docs, this company makes 4k usd per year!
https://www.rusprofile.ru/id/2383717
They make 350 USD per month... lol, how many clients do they have? How do they pay to 8 employees?
It feels like it was a real telecom company that "fsb/gru" acquired, then turned into the cyber attack coordinator or so.
Not every corporate fraud in Russia is done by the FSB lol.
Not in this case.
Well, this is how it works in Russia.
The grandfather of Interlan founder was a KGB general. Even in Wikipedia.
After that, everything is clear
So they got movey from fsb, funded pq, aeza to perform these cyberattacks.
Mr. Putin is colonel in FSB and he is president of Russia. So what? Please stop distribute bullshit over the world.
I can understand that you love CIA but this does not mean that FSB cannot to be loved. Both is secret service, both do anything to protect own interests.
I can recall that in 2025 Meta, X and perhaps other american social media and big tech included into their councils persons from ministry of defence (or ministry of war for now). And it is known fact that lot of man and woman from secrete services work in all industry of USA. For example at least two top manager fired from CIA work in Spamhaus. That is very common practice.
This is just a money grab. Do not compare with CIA. Here they have no inteligence.
The guy’s grandpa was in the KGB, so the grandson got the contracts from FSB. They hired a couple of prostitutes like Aeza and PQ host, DDoS’ed the Brits, got banned - and that’s it.
Zero results. They don’t have any interests, just stealing cash and pretend they do real harm via these attacks
Even the CIA, whatever you think of them, at least has some motivations except money.
It seems to me that in this context, the FSB is used as an additional argument to say that terrible people live in Russia, and they are all FSB officers. Let me remind you that top managers of Aeza are under investigation in Russia for drug distribution.
PS. The British government officially claimed cyber war against Russia. DDoS attacks are coming against a lot of state services in Russia, as well as financial and telecommunication companies. This is just a cyberwar.
No, Ukraine will.
That's not what "politicized actions" are. Suspending late night hosts, yes, sanctioning criminal organizations isn't.
You're a propaganda sponge. You soak it all up and then release the dirty shit to the rest of us.
I didn't hear where the crime group had been sanctioned by the state. Maybe I missed something?
What's shady about them?
VPS that quickly became very crappy.
Your own fucking quote in the post right above your post. You're just a propaganda copy and paster.
Proof please.
Except Aeza, of course. I guess this is understandable. Show me any other criminal group that has been sanctioned by the state.
I cannot cite the original words, but in Russian media I saw references to the 25th of May 2025 from the British Defence Ministry and also the Ministry of Information's interview, perhaps in The Times or the Financial Times.
Of course, they say that this is because Russians are attacking. But how much we can trust their words? We can understand based on what they say about the terrorist act against Nord Streams. During a month or two, all Western media reported that Russia had exploded them.
You said that the British government officially claimed cyber war against Russia. If so, there must be an official statement. I don't believe in hearsay, so I want to see proof. Russia media (and also Western media) say so many things. So, please give me the facts.
I'll make it simple for you: it is simply isn't correct. You're believing in fairy tales.
