Dedirock gives a vibe of Dustinc 2.0. Wait who said that?

Yeah? Because Dedirock's super short responses are a pretty big contrast from the long ass responses from Dustin. Night and day.

And thinking rationally IPv6 is not a technically and economically sound solution. So they said "thanks, no".

Rationally? You're a fucking poser. You need to stop talking for Network Engineers. You are not one, you're not educated in the field, and you know ZERO fucking Network Engineers or Network Architects that say, "thanks, no",

BECAUSE NOBODY IN THE WORLD SAYS THAT STUPID FUCKING THING BUT YOU, IT'S "No, thanks". Your inability to learn ANYTHING new is proven every time you post.

Your main complaints is that you're given enough addresses that running out will never be an issue, like some weird mental thing like IP's need to be earned or conserved.

Lastly, your other complaint with IPv6 is that typing in longer addresses is beyond your bird brain capability. Can't help you there.

At any time, someone from the community will take a photo with you in it

Even pictures of France with the flag, etc., haha

excellent! I have communicated this on other threads, but, Metallica is my favorite for sure.

I do and many others too. IPv6 should be standard issue these days, so there needs to be public pressure to get it hooked up everywhere from ISPs to VPS providers.

I tell you @jnd I get a little upset when I see others not getting hooked up......

@yoursunny said: Delisting can occur when IPv6 is available to all services and all locations, not "select services in 2 weeks".

Ya he jumped the gun a bit announcing delisting but still I'm quite hopeful he's able to follow thru.

Will this be the 1st CC dingleberry in history to achieve ipv6? I confess I haven't tracked it very well since I tend to avoid them just due to locations (and lack of v6).

@jsg said: Btw. what that "hall of shame" thing really achieves is to show that IPv6 doesn't and can't stand based on its own merits and (largely non existent) advantages and needs to be force-fed down our throats.

Well it's a reminder at least that some of us do require v6 for various reasons even if we're just wrong :)

    Follow through is imminent!! :)

Gonna be honest not heard dingleberry in a very long time, made me laugh.

Or you could do a bundle with all 3 locations.

The world needs IPv6. It is as simple as that. The hall of shame needs to exist, especially in a low-end environment where the cost of a simple IP address is of big importance.

I can't wait for IPv6 at DediRock to be implemented on my VPS. This is simply an awesome and necessary evolutionary step.

I will say when I saw us on the Hall Of Shame, I definitely got a good kick out of it, but then researched it a bit more and realized that it is something that people want and should be offered, so it def raised awareness on the topic.

When you list ip ranges you should try to use cidr notation.

It's a minor clue people will pick up on subconsciously that you know what you're doing.

People like me notice that shit.

I might be the only people like me so this may be useless advice.
