Is Cloudflare good for you?
no we have cdn servers .
have you looked into @RoyaleHosting for this? https://royalehosting.net/ddos-protection
hmm, maybe BlazingFast / CooperShield if you are looking for VPS
BlazingFast is the best but sometimes network goes slow on VPS nodes for short time, CooperShield isn't bad but ths only issue they.don't have VPS functions and only root access, good DDOS Protection it will block regions which attacks come from until attack is ended!
We provide Corero DDOS Protection on our UK VPS , Email & Webhosting , if that would be suitable for your needs. drop us a message if you would like to understand the specifics of the DDOS Protection we use
if those providers states they have DDOS Protection, why use Cloudflare?
weird
buy an OVH server and that's it.
It sounds like our EvoShield protection would be perfect for your needs. You can set up protection profile rules for individual ports as easy as: https://evolution-host.com/images/evoshield-panel.gif
The protection can be applied remotely to your current hosting provider via our remote DDoS protection service: https://evolution-host.com/remote-ddos-protection.php
Or locally inside of one of our VPS if you'd prefer: https://evolution-host.com/vps-hosting.php
We’re offering TLS and Web Filter protection for ports 80/443.

Application based filtering only for gameservers
Not weird at all actually most providers only do L3/L4 protection. They're world class when it comes to their product tbh and their WAF is really good
