LA is on fire, Buffalo is fine.
Shit like fo real
idk, I have latency jumps to 300ms in LA, for me its on fire.
Maybe some DDoS, congestion or whatever, its online but not really usable.
Oh even SSH login also failed?
SSH works, but it like dial up.
Do you still hear music? Is it rockin’?
Then its waste of money 😅
Hey praburam, I bought one and I am happy with the performance
I hear also they have The DediRock 382 GB6 Score Challenge™
Woot!
😈
My $7/year dedirock is in NY so I can't comment on the CA issues but what I can tell you is that it probably wouldn't be a great experience running a browser on it. The server is pretty slow. I'm happy with it though, I didn't expect it to be a speed demon. It's a solid little work horse for basic tasks.
Maybe the issue on LA due to its Colocrossing Upstream Provider ...
Mine in LA is good without any downtime for days, really cool so far and waiting for a IPV6, btw, the GB5 score is lowend of course.
I have one in NY too. Works great for my use case which needs very low compute. But no downtime or any network issues. IPv6 will be awesome when I get it.
I like to think of it as an investment into your happiness
Hey Riomartin, on the LA side it was a one off. Server just kept going down etc, finally got to the bottom of it. Took some doing but all handled.
Looks like someone stopped rockin too hard in LA
thx bugfree for the honest review
I think you got your IPV6 ya?
Current Forcast for Dedirock LA, shits still on fire yo
Some work to do there
thank you for the intel.
Doesn't work well, 1st time harddisk failure, 2nd time, don't know the reason but it was down
It work fine for me I have used it for samp/mtasa hosting
The best and lowest latency from South East Asia (y)
But the difficult is to reach the Eastern side with lowest latency.
I am still had this on the other provider in LA (23.94.x.x)
Awesome thanks Batman!!
lol
Hey m3th3lesh, ya that was a tough start, double kick in the pants, sorry about that. All is well now? Put in a ticket as well maybe there are some upgrades I can for the trouble.
Thx
I actually send you a ticket, before I posted this one here.
You replied, but didn't really seem to be interested in solving it.
sorry about that, what is the ticket number, I would like to take a look again please.
For me its looks like they didnt provided additional resources on new VPS as well in LA😥
So far it works. One can't expect super performance on a $7/year VPS, but it works and it is up.
What absolutely surprised me about @DediRock was a simple e-mail message that I received a few hours ago, with title: "Hello, how's your day?". A moment before opening it I thought it was an advertising and immediately wondered if I registered for their mailing list at signup (which I normally don't because I hate spam), but the content of the message was this:
That's it. No advertising, no offers, no flashy specs, no coupn, no vouchers, no free credits. This e-mail message made me wonder: when is the last time a provider asked you how's your day, out of nowhere, without displaying some offers in the email, just to let you know they are there?
Absolutely brilliant idea! I love it. It is like a human being letting you know they are there for you, in a simple and short way, and I don't think this company consulted a professional psychologist to do something this brilliant. Such simplistic message shows a human behind a company, trying to reach humans without asking for something like sales or presenting some flashy coupon. I simply love it. It made my day this morning when I saw it (for DediRock was likely evening when they sent it).
Just for such e-mail message alone, I can only recommend DediRock. Congratulations! In an era of AI and lots of spam trying to make sales, we did not forget to be humans and care about one another.
To answer your question @DediRock - my day just became great! With regards to the fix, the IPv6 addition will be awesome. I hope you are fine and well.
