Can dartnode be trusted for production?

Like they have things going on (offers)
But really wanted to know how stable are they

So wanted a genuine review of dartnode if anyone has used it

they're generally fine, but if you're saving a bit of $$$ using them, might as well get a 2nd cheap VM with another provider for redundancy.

haven't had a single outage for months but they had a rough start.

  • mine has a solid uptime of 200+ days

Been their customer and moved out our to-be-production dedicated servers to another provider. I dont think their tech or stack is the issue.. Their support response times are just super slow in general. So if your expectation is that if something goes down and you need response from them within 24-48hrs, I am not sure thats going to happen. They eventually will respond however there is no SLA. When things are working I think they will work just fine, its when you start facing issues thats where hosting service providers need to shine..

Also if you get a dedicated server with them, you need to log a ticket to get a IPMI session and last time they took more then 24hrs even to respond and get me a IPMI session. So if out-of-band control is important I would suggest getting a dedicated IPMI which is another $35 a month and then same with DDOS.

Having said that, I still bought two more VPS servers this time from them as they were honest and accepted their mistake and all the lapses in communication. Additionally, they also gave me a credit. I hope things improve. However these two are just test nodes for us, so responses times dont really matter on these.. Yet to establish trust for me to bring my prod with them.
