Could you please help me check if ultravps has deleted my data?

First of all, I want to confirm a few points. I am renewing the server, not buying a new server.

Today, a client reported that their website was down. I tried to connect to the server via SSH but couldn't. I checked the backend of Ultravps and found an unpaid bill. I immediately paid it, but my website still wouldn't open. All ports were blocked. I tried using VNC and it told me to reinstall Debian. So, has my system been reset? I'm not sure what to do. Could you help me?

25 days, I have communicated with the official and they will not delete my server unless I request not to renew.

Most companies at that time will have delete the server since it would normally show you are not renewing, companies cannot host your server for a time that has not been agreed using resources on the chance you may decide to renew weeks or months later. I would guess its been deleted after a few weeks if you have not kept them updated of why you had not renewed before or on that renewal date

Frankly, after 25 days, what did/do you expect?

If you have clients, you really need to pay better attention

I asked about it and it's their policy, so I don't think there's anything wrong with it.
The company arranged for me to go on a business trip to Thailand, and I only remembered this when I got home.

  • I got an official reply that my server data was not deleted, but the server system had an error and could no longer be started normally. I could only back up the data through rescue mode. My God, this is very difficult for me.

  • You've got a nice vps here. It'd be a shame if anything were to... happen to it.

If it’s difficult to manage server for you, you do have option for full managed service!

  • tbh you've left your bill unpaid for 25 days and expected a company to keep your data. I'm surprised they kept anything at all honestly

  • @UltraVPS Why not ask them, if they still looking the forum.

Well, since you are hosting clients on this server there are of course backups. Why don't you just reinstall and recover the data from the backups?
