SFTP is there on us1, it just isn't perfect yet. It doesn't support SSH keys (probably never will), nor does it support 2FA.
You can check port
8222. Just make sure you've used the web portal to upload a file to 'prep' it. This is a known bug, we'll get it fixed.Francisco

Thanks for the update. I am waiting for SFTP support before purchasing. It will more than likely be EU server also. I know you have been busy with upgrades going off your other posts but thought it would be useful to at least show you there is interest

Signed up on Sunday, everything's been working very well since. Being able to use mail.mydomain.tld to access pretty much everything (webmail, IMAP, SMTP, CalDAV, ...) is amazing.
However, since today I can't seem to be able to use CardDAV and CalDAV anymore, I just end up getting an authentication error. Username and password are definitely correct as I'm able to use the exact same values (copied from my password manager) for IMAP and SMTP.
Any idea what might be broken? I'm on eu1.workspace.org.

Is there any programmatic way to create aliases? Like API call?
I'd like to use this as a secondary mail server in case the primary goes down and when I create new aliases on the primary, I'd like to include an additional call to create one at Namecrane as well (I want to avoid catch all to be able to reject spam to non-existing addresses).

Any recommended Android email apps that work nicely with both mail and calendar sync to your services?
eMClient, great app syncing my emails immediatly on phone.
I did try that out already but it has no calendar functionality on mobile so that's out

Anyone facing issue on Search? I am having that issue with Us1 in mobile email client (gmail app as well as us1 smartmail client). Waiting for a resolution via ticket. But just posting here to share one's experience while searching for some text inside email panel.
If you are having problems in the webmail interface, try re-indexing:
1) Log in with an domain admin account in SmarterMail
2) More -> Domain Settings -> (right click on mail user) -> Reindex.

Yep it should be pretty good now and uses EWS which will be better (feature/support wise) than our EAS implementation.

Yes. It helps in webmail. But facing issues in Gmail app even after forcing a sync. "Problem syncing" is shown whenever i make a search and an unlimited loading icon too.
The inbox is attached by? IMAP? Exchange?

Once you have autodiscover setup you should be able to just add an 'Exchange' account on your phone. When it asks for your password, give the EAS password listed inside of Smartermail.
It should just work, assuming the SSL is assigned.

Ah that's interesting, it has been a few months since I laast tried it, so will try that again.
Edit: Still can't see a calendar tab anywhere. I logged into workspace via exchange and my gmail account, neither shows up with a calendar
Edit 2: With some research, it seems I can download the apk or join the beta program on Google Play. Have signed up and will test it once it shows up on my Play store.

Can you reply to my ticket? I purchased 'CraneMail Starter 100G', but I've been unable to add my domain. I've also opened a ticket and added the txt record to DNS as requested, but I haven't received any response. It's been since the 8th I bought it, and it's still not working. In the ticket, I requested to cancel the order and get a refund, but I haven't received a reply either?
I hope you guys will fix the issue where a mail domain in SpamExperts gets deleted because the related shared hosting has expired, even though the mail domain is actually active in the CraneMail service. That way, people who migrate from shared hosting to CraneMail for email won't run into the same issue as mine.
This happened to my client, where all incoming emails from August to 12 September were lost. Well, this is my mistake as well for not checking it regularly, since I assumed it was working fine because the site could send outgoing emails via SMTP.
