[1984.host] No support, no refund for broken VPS — beware!

I’m sharing my negative experience with 1984.host.

Ordered a VPS for a standard WireGuard VPN setup.
The server was configured strictly according to official documentation:
– Proper NAT and iptables rules
– IP forwarding enabled
– MTU carefully adjusted
– Multiple devices and networks tested
Result: Only basic IP-checker sites (like ifconfig.me) loaded.
All regular websites (YouTube, mail, shops) failed to open through the VPN.

Submitted a detailed support ticket and formal refund request — no answer after 48 hours.

For anyone considering 1984.host:
They will waste your time and money, and simply ignore you if something goes wrong.

    Yeah right, lol.
    Look on trustpilot, red flag.

you have their teams ID or WhatsApp?

  • Sites know to block the 1984.host ASN.

  • My antivirus won't let me access their site, it tells me it's a phishing site.

  • The name is a red flag.

  • [UPDATE] Full refund received — issue resolved

The provider refunded my payment after confirming the issue. Support doesn’t work on weekends, but handled my case properly on business days.

Honest, transparent approach — thank you!

    Makes your OP over dramatic.

This seems to have been a user problem, not a provider problem, so maybe someone should change the topic?

Pretty sure you call your ISP everyday or when you are happy with them. You call them to tell that?

  • Dont know what you talking about.

You wrote that Trustpilot is a red flag. In fact not always. Some trustpilot reviews are just people spreading their “hate” just because they got banned for X reason. So the best place to create some drama, hate and non-sense feedback is in Trustpilot.

Trustpilot is useful just for reading some stuff, but won’t guarantee anything.

When you are happy with your Hosting Provider, ISP or any service you will write in Trustpilot a good review? Usually people when they have a good service they don’t care at all to show it in Public. Because if it works why wasting time to leave a good feedback? Some are really appreciated. But many of them doesn’t care unless they have a bad service when it happens they run to Trustpilot.

Trustpilot doesn’t determine all. Just that.

  • Ah ok.
For my mind, i search forums and specific sites for opinions, they can help more to choose a good host.
A host doesnt need feedback, its enough if an user stays there for years and spend money and trusting them. The most problems always comming by issues or price increases, but if they know, what to do, its not a risk to fail. Its always your opinion to choose if settle there anyway, or search for another host.

Trustpilot can store 10 stories and just 1 can be a big issue. The other 9 can be overreactions, or the opposite. The hoster wont say they are bad, but the best.
