Seriously oversold, port speed does not meet the standard, hard disk speed is like HDD, avoid lightning!
hi, Can i ask if you tried opening a ticket for help?
SSD It's not an NVMe, so it might be slower, but not terrible.
Port Speed seems ok to us instead.
10G 0.5G port
Seriously oversold, port speed does not meet the standard, hard disk speed is like HDD, avoid lightning!
Again, have you tried opening a ticket?
Also, the server is currently under extreme stress as so many people are doing yabs and installing their servers.
we're ready to help, of course.
This is the situation when it just went online. I can’t imagine what it’s like when everyone uses it!
Unfortunately, as mentioned, the server is under stress given the number of yabs and customer server installations. I hope you can understand, but we will immediately do some optimization work to improve everything.
I will post it after testing it the next day.
We're ready to help, as mentioned, anytime, and thank you for your understanding.
If you need, our technical team is available.
We have understood the problem, it seems that some nodes are receiving less power than expected, and this negatively impacting on performance, we are conducting an emergency maintenance with technicians on site now.
All solved!
thanks for the delivery.
I'll leave the setup until tomorrow, bet there's dozens of people installing everything at present.
I managed to install Micro OS with only a few hiccups.
The custom iso seems to get forgotten after a while - adding the iso a 2nd time fixed the issue. VNC disconnected a few times but no show stopper
topThanks for a nice offer ;o)
Thank you!
Definitely better
the slow write I saw on a custom install - I think is either the new Control Panel - or the Micro OS iso
I had the same slow writes during install elsewhere with the same version CP
New subnet, whois can take some time to update. Server is in Amsterdam.

Good offer, the only issue is the disk read/write speed. Taking into consideration the good 10Gbps port, good CPU, low price it's really a good buy, no regrets.
For small websites and apps there's always a way around slow disk if you have decent cpu and high bandwidth port.
One can cache most reads, write to redis then batch write to disk every few seconds specially during high traffic periods.
Waiting for the next offer.
If you open a ticket our team will help you
Thanks for the feedback!
The servers have SSD drives and not NVMe, so it may happen that, especially during periods of stress like these days, they are slower, but nothing dramatic anyway.
But as you said yourself, for the price/quality ratio, I think it's really excellent anyway.
The device has a large memory capacity, but why is the 1MB test slower than the 4KB test on the hard drive? Could this be a cache disk?

Yo, is this openSUSE MicroOS?
Yes openSUSE - & a rolling release so no reinstalls + an immutable root (great for podman / rke2 / k3s & very secure with self healing from failed upgrades)
I switched from Ubuntu to Micro OS about a year or so ago - much less maintenance compared to Ubuntu. You can leave machines alone for 6 months & nothing much needs to be done. Podman containers can auto update themselves with a single label (unlike docker)
If you create your own custom iso with kiwi - the iso installs itself with all your customizations & reboots from disk
Less fiddly than
ansible& a great time saver. I clean build images in a tumbleweed container with azramext4 volume as the build directory (speeds builds up quite a bit)Talos Linux is also awesome,
