How do you figure that? On the screenshot 6.55 is 86.3% of the 7.59 specified. So kinda even more, which is puzzling in fact, since the default discount is listed on the ordering page as 12%.
The standard monthly price listed on ovh.ie, is 6.99 instead of 7.59 EUR?

I see what you mean now, I assumed there was some VAT in play, but 8% does not look like VAT.
It appears you could get it for 5.95/mo on yearly from the get go, but only 6.55/mo if switching afterwards. And the discount in EUR is 14% not 12%, so at least that part is correct.
In the image the price is VAT included (21% in my case).
On the shopping cart page VAT is excl.
As said above, it's not VAT since the difference is only about 8-9%

Now OVH's VPS and ECO servers have changed their discount policies. The biggest discount you can get is on the ordering webpage, but the discount you get by signing a contract in the console is very small, almost no discount at all.
