💜 LumaDock Frankfurt is LIVE! 7x 15% Recurring + 15x 25% First Purchase | Unmetered KVM VPS - NVMe
Hello again LET!
Thank you all for the feedback from the previous topic! This time around we tried to make things clearer and more exciting.
But for those of you hearing about us for the first time: We’re LumaDock, a European VPS provider built and operated by the team behind LifeinCloud. Since 2009, we've been building and managing infrastructure - for ourselves as well for our managed services clients.
. We own our hardware and run our own datacenter in Bucharest. We don’t resell, we don’t overprovision and we don’t add setup/surprise fees. Our 24/7 support is in-house, done by people who know infrastructure - not outsourced call centers. But now with housekeeping out of the way, let's get to the big news...
Frankfurt, Germany VPS zone is live!
We’re thrilled to announce that our new Frankfurt, Germany zone is officially open for deployments! Housed inside firstcolo's state-of-the-art FRA1/R3 Tier III data center, right next to DE-CIX (the world’s largest Internet exchange), this location brings low latency to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux and much of Central Europe. You can read more in the article about our Frankfurt VPS availability zone on our blog.
With that we're offering two promotions to the LET community. These stack with existing discounts for 6-month and 12-month cycles.

nice offer
yabs for 6g6c for all CPUs, please.
yabs please
Please provide $7 a year
No IPv6?
Thank you!
You can try it out yourself, and if you're not happy with our service, we will refund you within 30 days.
Unfortunately, I don't think we can include that in our offering. Saw some sweet $7 deals around here and hats off to those providers.
The closest one right now at $13.41 / year (including the LET discount) is the first Starter KVM VPS plan with has 1vCPU, 1GB RAM, 20GB NVMe, Unmetered Bandwidth, IPv4, DDoS + 24/7 human support.
Nice nickname, by the way
We'll have it soon, we promise.
Yea no. I'll pass if you wanna roll like that.
Dealing with hassles of refund/currency conversion is too much for me. Plus I dont do refunds because I dont buy without researching.
Lets take a mid point... $10/Yr
Will AMD products be available in Germany in the future? If so, can the Intel processor I ordered now be migrated to AMD?
do you accept crypto?
We're planning to expand our offering with even better CPUs - stay tuned in the coming weeks
And yes, you'll be able to request migration from our support team.
Not at this time, @strongeek - debit/credit card only.
Where's our favorite $7 deal
They are unwilling to offer a $7 plan, the lowest is $13, and they hope to compromise and offer a $9.9 plan.
Due to some personal concerns, I've reviewed your Terms of Service (TOS) and noticed the absence of Service Level Agreement (SLA) guarantees.
The provisions regarding network transmission and data security also appear vague to me, particularly the lack of defined minimum standards for network transmission speeds and unclear liability for data loss.
I hope you could provide more specific metrics to help me make an informed assessment.
The usage policy says " use of torrent trackers is prohibited". So is torrent seeding and downloading not usable?
Hi Alex! Our terms are intentionally simple and pretty standard. They set baseline expectations (keep it legal, don’t abuse shared resources) and also protect the 99% of normal users from the tiny group that tries to game the platform. It's mostly common sense. Now, because the port is shared, we can't guarantee network speed - it varies based on usage. And while we take care of the infrastructure, we encourage our users to take care of their VMs - through backups, monitoring, firewall, SSH etc. We include backup/snapshot tools in most plans, but ultimately customers are responsible for their own data copies. So far, it's been great: our customers are happy and we are happy - but we are aware that no system is perfect and hardware will inevitably fail. As for the SLA, we don't publish a credit-based one - if that's something you need to meet specific contractual metrics, please discuss it with our sales team.
We don’t allow running a torrent **tracker **on our network. Using a torrent **client **(download/seed) on your own VPS is fine as long as it’s lawful content, doesn’t trigger abuse complaints, and doesn’t impact other users. If it’s copyrighted/illegal or causes issues, we may have to take action.
As much as I wish to spawn such legendary deals, it's not something we can do right now, guys.
Wow, thank you LET community!
We added a few extra uses for both promos. Our team is here to answer your questions.
Can the looking glass also add dummy files to conduct download tests?
yabs!
