The more ram you put in it, the more it eats.
I've run w10 with 4gb, heck even 2.5.
Really? How does that work? Like the computer becomes less efficient since it has more resources to burn or something?
Something like os caches more crap from your storage to access it faster when needed.
Free ram is wasted ram.

Use a mini PC
I did have one in the past they were cool but I like to be able to have my laptop when traveling etc.
