Looking for DDoS protected vps

Hello everyone!
I don't often visit such forums, but here I've reached a dead end. I've been looking for good server protection (both from the hosting and separately) for over a year. I've tried quite a few protection services on the market, such as: Neoprotect, Cosmicguard, Path, Gcore, OVH, Pletx, Aurologic, packets-decreaser, RoyaleHosting, Datalix (and yes, there is also Dataforest, but I have extremely negative impressions of it: it is inexpensive for hosting providers, but it will not protect against serious attacks, so I avoid it). All the protection services I've tried have their pros and cons, but I still haven't found the perfect solution for myself. Let me explain a bit: I have a game server that is under a huge amount of completely different attacks, from hundreds of Gbps to several Tbps (sometimes I even got black holed by large attacks), I changed hosting and security services all the time, and now I'm at a dead end... So if you know of any new or ways to protect myself that I haven't tried, please suggest them.
Thanks in advance!

I have a game server that is under a huge amount of completely different attacks, from hundreds of Gbps to several Tbps (sometimes I even got black holed by large attacks)

I think the problem is in budget - no one wants to protect "problematic" (DDoS-magnet) customer for cheap, so maybe you won't find the VPS you are seeking for

It's not like any of the hosting services I used were against it. Some used attacks on my server as advertising or something like that.

So you are unsatisfied for other reason than providers booting you?

  • they are not bad, even very good, thanks for reminding me of them

The reasons are different for everyone, and it would take an incredibly long time to describe the reasons for rejecting each protection. Some cope well with volumetric attacks, but die from a large number of packets per second. Some block attacks too aggressively, and even legitimate traffic suffers from this.

  • I see you mentioned a few providers I have used before without issue. What about IP-Projects?

What are you running? Are they game servers?

  • Go for EvolutionHost.com I've used for better and stronger DDoS protection. I have used their VPS for three years for game hosting.

Could you please also let us know which game you are referring to?

In order to look into this properly, it would be great if you could provide me with an order ID or ticket ID from when you were our customer. That way I can check which product you used and what issues you encountered.

I used them this month and the end of last month. maybe they really aren't bad. But as far as I understand, they are now changing their network and therefore cannot cope with really large attacks. ( up to about 1 TB, everything is not bad, but then it's terrible )

Yeah that sounds right at the moment to be fair, capacity is higher than that but still having issues with large attacks

Never faced a single downtime their DDoS protection is really strong. I have been attacked a couple of times

OVH has very good DDOS protection for VPS.

Since you have a Game Server, OVH has protection for game servers.
    https://www.ovhcloud.com/en/vps/uc-vps-game/

I used to have a game server and the biggest problem is that there are a lot of DDOS attacks by the players themselves who play on the server to the jealous competence that has a similar ping.
I solved the problem by switching to OVH.

Base OVH protection (non-Game DDos protection) is good?

When I switched to OVH Gaming VPS, I opened a ticket and said that I have a problem with strong ddos attacks that happen very often. After that I had no more problems.

The only problem was that the server wasn't located in the country I wanted and because of that I had a higher ping.

honestly it's hard to remember the email I used to register with you, it's been lost for a long time. I left you because of problems with large attacks. although you post nice numbers about the maximum attack power in discord and on the site, it's worth clarifying that the server was dead during this attack. you shouldn't even think about attacks over 2 TB or more.
I might have seemed rude, so forgive me in advance

We have found your old account.

You have carried out DDoS and “Dstating” attacks on our network, which violates our terms of use, which is why your account has been terminated.

    For context: The attacks included 771 G TCP, 650 G TCP, 405 G UDP, 237 G UDP, 211 G TCP

    and more.

There also was attacks a big way above 500 Mpps and you paid a single-digit euro amount and expected us to defend against the attacks you yourself caused.
    No provider will do that.

Advice: stay away from this customer if possible.
