Storage VPS - 1TB or larger
in Requests
I am in need of a big (to me) storage server, minimum 1TB. From my review of the offer page, all the deals I could find are sold out. Location doesn't matter so long as connectivity is good. I need min 500MB memory, prefer 1GB,to run Virtualmin. I will run this as nothing more than a storage server, sftp uploads and downloads. If you have anything that fits those requirements, PLMK. Thanks.

I've seen @NovaCloudHosting do some pretty good quotes, but I can't attest to their performance. Hostbrr and Layer7 are my beloved.

Would a small VM with a storage box work for you?
I absolutely recommend @NovaCloudHosting. Cheap pricing, very fast hdd disks for the price.
Hi, we can currently offer the following config:
Just 3,50€/Month or 35€/Annually
With 1TB HDD Storage the price would be 3€/Month
Here's a disk io performance test:

Feel free to contact me for a custom configuration or if you have any questions.
What's the disk io performance like for the HDD partition?
That is the performance of the hdd partition. i was surprised when i saw it too. Here's mine:
lsblk:
If it's just to store files , and upload - download you can use our object storage $3/TB/m
Does your object storage provide a GUI for management? I do know that you can use the Linux command line to review and search. I just prefer a GUI file manager that is why I usually install Virtualmin on a storage VPS.
There will be some decent caching going on there, which means those IO tests give a “best performance” result rather than a general case one, as creating the test zone primes the cache for the subsequent tests. You'll see worse performance reading “cold” data (not writing, as that will hit the cache first) as that priming won't have happened. Still an impressive result for a shared storage & IO resource though.
Yes thats true, but since most customers who have a lot of disk iops going on are using the NVMe-Cache, there is less load on the HDD pool.
It does , there are also many clients you can use like cyberduck
@NovaCloudHosting support is very responsive and quickly talked me off the ledge, I mean corrected my issue. Great job guys!
We have these SFTP storage plans with Virtualmin/webmin included:

Layer7 has 50 euro per year FOR 8GB RAM 120 GB primary and 5 TB secondary disk with 50 TB monthly bandwidth IIRC. (LET SPECIAL).
If you could get hands on that one, then it's real value for money. No other provider has such low cost to TB ratio.
out of stock,Could you please replenish the inventory?
Is there a configuration of 2 cores and 2GB of memory? How much is it for a month?
I can offer 2 Cores for +0,50€/Month or +5€/Annually. (Special offer, doesn't apply to other configurations and doesn't stack)
If it is a 4c2g configuration, is it an additional 1.5 euros per month?
@NetDynamics24 I do miss your discount ($7 annually)
Hope you can top it up :-)
@DediRock connect it
2TB $27/year
cheap and useful
If it's 4c, what's the price?
should be back in stock on 9/2
What is the CPU of this VPS?
Dual Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2699 or 2683
These are purely for backups/file dumps. Not made for high freq compute.
Thanks, but if your AMD VPS can have the hard drive configured, it's the perfect choice. For example, the default is 100GB, but customers can pay to choose additional capacity
There is a drop down "Extra NVMe Storage" at check out
Sorry for not checking carefully, you are right
