Apparently, I was playing on the penny slot machine. Quite a disappointment, especially after first receiving a deployment email stating I would get an AMD EPYC 7402. But no, in reality, it’s just a Dual 2650v4.

Of course, I reached out to them, and this was their response:
"Some of them might have been labeled wrong on our end. We have a lot of orders coming through. So yes, you have a Dual 2650v4."

Not renewing this, obviously. I already cancelled it.

This is gonna be shit show next month with chargebacks :-D

@jonbeard can you confirm this? If one doesn't cancel the server on the first day they'll have to pay for the second month?

Okay so you got a Dual 6142 whereas the deployment mail said EPYC 7402, nice that's more in line.

Yes and it is not "new/strange" - some providers allow, some not.

Providers do the math - they don't expect you to blast CPU 24/7 (mining) or disk (Chia?) or network :D.

Not everyone is big as Hetzner that they can have their "own" mobo with limited BIOS and you can't change power limits :-D
Oh wait, Hetzner don't allow cryptomining either. So yeah, read TOS, read AUP :D

Didn't we make a rule back in the day against putting a non-recurring promo price in the thread subject, because it's one of the worst things that ever came out of WHT? Did that go away @FAT32? If so, you should reconsider. It won't take long after one starts before nearly every offer thread has a misleading price in the thread subject just to get attention, and then it's "for the first month." It's why it's impossible to shop the WHT offer forum based on budget, which is one of the things that makes those forums useless.

This is gonna be shit show next month with chargebacks :-D

@jonbeard can you confirm this? If one doesn't cancel the server on the first day they'll have to pay for the second month?

You can cancel day 2, or the day before due. The process is automated and no manual intervention is needed. Cancellation requests (should you choose to cancel), will automatically cancel product (immediately or next due date), even if an invoice is generated, it will kill the invoice. The snippit of terms thats been posted in here is outdated and we will correct on our side. Apologies for any confusion.

@Freek shoot me a DM with your order ID - this may have been an honest mistake. Let me see what I can do to make it right for you.

I see you nailed one with a 7TB disk. I think the ones I was seeing that had 7TB disks, there was actually 4, but only 1 partitioned. Don't quote me on this, but may be worth checking your lsblk

I think I just replied to your ticket. There are a couple orders that for some reason have been delayed significantly and is not our normal results. I have escalated this to the deployment team manager and I expect to have a resolution shortly. Its still 7:30am their time, so I should be first on his list. I apologize greatly for the delay - you ordered on the 26th, and you should have absolutely been deployed on the 26th, and I take full responsibility for that. I will make it right in the end.

This is a good question. Normally, we offer a full self-managed portal (Tenant) for our DCIM. This is how we built the infrastructure here at BreezeHost - automation and enabling our customers to self-service. We recently were acquired by LSN (hence the hardware flux and LSN gear/networks), and we have not integrated our systems fully together yet. This will be remedied however in the coming weeks, as we deploy our infrastructure globally in parallel with all the LSN locations. Once this happens, the existing gear that has already been deployed under BreezeHost will be brought into our racks, at which time we will be able to integrate these machines in with our PXE. We will communicate this with all the customers on timelime. Myself and @BreezeHost_Ryan will specifically be going out to each of these locations globally over the next 4-8 weeks

To the rest of the LET community, I understand this offer may not make sense for most. But be assured, you are dealing with a reputable company (feel free to check my prior offerings). The nonsense and down right blasting of this offer by some members of the community, quite frankly put, wasn't for you :) Its for the rest of people that will appreciate the offer. I've been called a lot of things like a scammer or whatever in the last couple of days, but I've been on LET since 2015. My reputation is everything.
