spartan host has DDoS guard -- not the worst choice in the world as long as you are doing things large scale (the L7 protection adapts to your needs in a sense, so for anything to be effective, you need constant traffic which it can learn from), only problem is their L4 protection isnt symmetric which leads to leaks.
Their support is also godly, one of the best mean response times ive came across along with really good and clear answers.

We do include basic DDoS protection on all plans by default, but if you expect heavy L7 attacks, the budget needs to be higher.
