Cloud providers with memory dump feature

Are there any providers which allow you to dump the memory of your own VMs from outside of the VM i.e. from hypervisor?

Comments

  • I doubt there's any. Sounds like a pretty dangerous feature for VMs.

  • Dunno why it should be dangerous. If someone has access to the hypervisor he can dump stuff anyways and you usually have access to lots of others things which also happen at the hypervisor level. Serial console, disk snapshots etc

  • ask provider that uses proxmox, the snapshot system does include RAM state.
but i doubt it's enabled for average vps users since it will cost storage (means cost money)
