    Thanks for that, appreciated! But I am not again spending the time and effort to set up the system so I can assess its suitabability for my use case (which has more subtle requirements than just peak disk throughput, peak network throughput, and latency, or even peak or average CPU performance), and have it terminated again before my assessment is complete (apart from credit running out much faster than expected based on your indications shared earlier in this thread, I had hoped the credit extension would have been applied while the initial instance still existed so it could have lived a little longer, allowing for the assessment of that instance to run to completion, but fully understand that wasn't possible, so no hard feelings/complaint, just wasn't meant to happen).

    I experienced the same; the UI keeps on loading, and SSH keeps on refusing, even though the VPS said it started.

    That was not the issue I had.

    Though related to what you describe, I remember it took quite a while for the VPS to be built, and actually become ready to be accessed (nothing major in the sense of hours, just eager and looking forward to get started, i.e., busy idling while waiting - more my issue than theirs).

    But I don't remember a significant delay between the portal reporting the VPS being ready, and my being able to access it.

    Some offers are HDD-Hybrid, while others are SSD.
