Those Dedicated Servers are specified as "10Gbit Unmetered", which in itself is generally more expensive than regular bandwidth (fair use/limited).
Netiface does sell fair use bandwidth servers, but we don't particularly advertise them, this is in the works
For example:
Intel Xeon E5-2630LV4
32GB DDR4 RAM
1x 128GB SSD
330TB @ 10Gbit
Amsterdam, Netherlands (Kabelweg 48a)
β¬50/month
Can you change anything in state of disks? Example: Change NVMe with SSD or HDD? Or add 2 disks of them instead of NVMe?
2TB + 240BG of NVMe is a bit much, but depending by every customers needs.
Yep, I think that will be great if there are options: 1x240, 2x240, 1x512, 2x512.
Small sizes is okay too.
Hi,
this HP moonshots are actually quiet special stuff. They are not normal servers where you can freely change hardware. It only supports NVMe and nothing else.
Theoretically we could move an additional 240 GB so a server would have 2x 240 GB. But that requires the datacenter to move hardware, resulting in expenses.
A 2nd 240 GB could be offered 5,- EUR additionally / month + 20,- EUR setup. ( Taken from another free server ).
Those small sizes are not reasonable to stock for us. As we use only high write duration NVMe drives that are usually more or less new, investing into anything smaller than 2 TB makes for us no sense as its not future save.
But of course i can understand the search for smaller configs to keep things within a low budget.
Fully understand!
Just dreaming: if one 240 SSD costs an additional 5 eur then:
19,90 without 240SSD = 14,90 eur.
plus add 2x2T nvme +26 EUR, total 14,90+26 EUR = 40,9 EUR
plus block storage (like on your VPS) via 25G private netlink via nfs/samba.
plus in Germany
Hi,
hrhr well the individual configuration is no problem.
The extra storage via nfs/samba is theoretically also possibe ( with 10G, as this already gives you 1 GB/s IO bandwidth, that you wont get from us for the 2 EUR / TB ;-) )
Germany is unfortunately impossible as power cost are basically double compared to france.
So as long as you dont want to pay the double price to have it in germany, then france it is ;-)
either going from 240 NVMe to 500 or 1TB SSD. A 2-4TB HDD maybe. For same price.
