Do you use MXroute for sending transactional emails?
Yes, I use MXroute for RackNode.net. We send all transactional emails through it (order confirmations, invoice reminders, payment notices, password resets, etc). Delivery has been great.
MXRoute is not a traditional transactional email provider, but can be used for transactional mail.
It has been argued a lot here, You don't get the features of a real transactional email platform, like say SES, Mailgun etc.
But can it be used to send out emails? Yes.

Amazon SES is probably the best for you @eguo.
Currently giving it a shot, I'm unfamiliar with AWS but I'll learn.
That's good to hear. If MXRoute made a transactional email service, I'd be keen, the hard limit on outbound throughput is a bit low for me, and I don't require the storage capacity of their larger higher-throughput plans.
I actually do have a plan with mxroute too. I've been using it for personal emails, and its worked pretty well. I've also recently been in need of an email service with high deliverability. I have a niche service i'll be launching soon that will notify paying users by email/text based on availabilities. If it gets bigger, it could be 5-100+ emails needing to be sent at once, depending on how many clients I have, and many other factors. I'm not sure though if jar counts this as spam.
It seems they have a limit of 400 mails per hour, which should be more than enough for a while, but there may be a point when it may not be enough (kind of unlikely though). I wonder if jar offers plans with higher outbound limits since all of them seem to have the same cap.

rarely hear about mxroute reviews in terms of business usage, also never knew their outbound that good you can use for transactional emails
Maybe consider mail.baby? Cheap and cheerful and has worked for me in the pass.
MXroute
Postmark is excellent, if you need all the bells and whistles.
MXroute for everything else, been using it for years - 0 issues, another +1.
