Modest dedicated server in FR / DE / NL
Just looking for a small dedi in France, Germany or the Netherlands, something like a 4 core 8 thread Xeon (not set in stone), 16 GB RAM ideally DDR4, 250-500 GB SSD with 1 Gbps + 1 to 2 TB outgoing bandwidth. 1 IPv4 + 1 IPv6.
Budget is €20/mo, EU companies preferred but not a must.
Intended usage is self-hosted services, Seafile, Immich, Joplin for strictly personal use.

I was surprised to see that the old dedibox are still available at online.net (Scaleway).
Start-2-M-SSD for instance, if an Avoton CPU is OK with you!
For this I would go Kimsufi (OVH) though, but no 1Gbps unless you win the OVH lottery.
Hah, I remember when I used an Online dedi with an Avoton in 2014-15. It was slow back then for my self-hosted services, wonder how it holds up now but I’m sure there’s better value for money these days.
I’ve also checked Kimsufi but they’re all out of stock in France unfortunately.
That’s an interesting one, thanks for the recommendation. The only issue with Finland is that my ISP doesn’t have great routing to there so it’s going to be slow to up & download files to and from my Seafile instance.
Looks nice! I just wish the SSD was a bit bigger but 20 TB traffic per month with a good CPU is going to be hard to beat.
