Website (http) or game? Technically both could be considered L7

Is it shilling if he gets something in return? I think its advertising for free servers which I assume isn't allowed especially if you don't mention it.

if it is not in the rules then he is not breaking anything so. But yeah, quite annoying to see yabs where question wasn't about that

By the definition, a shill is someone who helps another person to persuade people to buy something, especially by pretending to be a satisfied customer so yeah, he gets something in return.

And @Void shilling is against the rules. And advertising without disclosing it is even worse than shilling.

  • Just use Cloudflare + nginx with lua that will auto ban IP using CF API. Most hosts will let the attack through, if they don't let it through they will block it so hard again that the WSS will stop working. If this is php script try to cache it. If this can be a static site then use something like CF pages (Wordpress can be also static, you have a lot of plugins that will generate site to just html, css and js - or use httrack).

these guys are really good, can suggest em.

have used them in the past and I had no protection issues, only issue I had was with response time (one time in the end they never even got back to me!)

spartan host is also an option since it has DDoS guard -- not the worst choice in the world as long as you are doing things large scale (the L7 protection adapts to your needs in a sense, so for anything to be effective, you need constant traffic which it can learn from), only problem is their L4 protection isnt symmetric which leads to leaks.

Their support is also godly, one of the best mean response times ive came across along with really good and clear answers.

Note: only in Seattle which gets routed through LA, so a slight ping issue.

We used to have Spartan $16/year but it can only protect 20Gbps.
Someone, who we are not allowed to name, has been attacking us with greater traffic volume and causing nullroutes.
We sold Spartan subsequently as it’s no longer fragrant.

Nowadays our website is served through Zero Trust Tunnel.
We peering with Cloudflare through Ontario Internet Exchange, so that Internet DDoS cannot affect us.

This is totally the case for the $16/year plan.
    Higher plan can protect 200Gbps.

    EvoShield for VPN server.

    You're still wrong

things change, you need to get up to date info.

They charge basically nothing for the DDG protected IP address, but yes, its the higher plan.

If you create a ticket on site they are very.. accommodating.

    Thanks for the mention

Are you looking for a VPS or would you prefer a Dedicated Server or even a VPN? Our DDoS Mitigation engine is entirely in-house, custom stateful application filters, dynamic filtering for UDP & TCP, and has blocked over 2.5Tbps before without issues.

On top of this, we have a fully custom designed HTTPS Mitigation Engine built in Rust, with SSL termination, ACL rules, edge caching, automatic compression, proof of work challenges (PoW), and much much more available through our mitigation platform.

Let me know if this interests you, I'd be happy to setup a free trial for 14 days for you to experience our platform.

Okay now IM interested to see what you can offer.

Would this be what I would get if I were to just purchase a VPS from your website, or would I have to contact you in order to get this?
