New Laptop Ideas
Would like some help from a technical perspective and see if anyone has any experience with this.
Currently have a LG Laptop pro, and it only supports 3 screens ( 1 main screen and 2 monitors)
Was thinking about upgrading to an Alienware laptop so I can get 4 screens total (1 main screen and 3 monitors)
Anyone try this? Also, I'd like to see pictures of your setup if you're willing, would like to get some cool ideas.
Thanks

I can hook it up
There are VGA USB adapters. My favorite feature of this setup is that any time the desk shakes and the USB plug vibrates, I lose the image until reboot.
That's awesome.
whoa, so you removed the screen from the laptop?
Woot...?
Either try like a MacBook pro m4 max laptop or maybe whatever windows laptop with a eGPU or just the Alienware like you said. I work with 3 monitors with the MacBook and it works great.
headless laptop lmao
Error: missing "woot, woot".get a framework laptop and equip all ports with USB4 and connect screens?
MacBook Pro with M2/M3/M4 Max chip can connect up to four external displays.

Sell a kidney and you can afford the setup 4 times.

Wow that's crazy. Had no idea those things existed just read up on those. Thank you. That's definitely an option.
awesome on the Laptop, financing option.... interesting
Thank you.
Yup yup
Alienware
Laptop? Why? This community is low-end. Grab a Raspberry Pi.
+1 for framework, love mine.
very affordable! $35 to $100.
cool, have you had any issues with it?
seems like a good one
Great heatsink
If its a laptop i would look at it to be fanless and must have at least 2k oled screen
On the fanless part, why is that? Wouldn't that decrease performance if it overheated?
2 monitors is optimal for most users.
Check Framework laptops , thank me later.
1-2 does make you more efficient. Over past 15 years, with different business's and stuff I have gone up to 3 down to 1 a few times. Currently its looking like I need four.
