    java connection now works. But some error at the end.

  • Yep, he ticketed that changed something. But still an error (same)

  • Still waiting for a fix, and almost half of my service term has passed already.

    I won't argue, but to be honest, it seems to me that all these guys who:

    wait for their servers;
    find and point out mistakes in server management through panels;
    help other users in the community figure out how to make everything work;
    point out problems on the network

    deserve wholesale/the lowest prices.

    Well, personally, I would also ask each of them for a photo and post them on the wall of fame in my office.

    We own all our servers, we manage them ourself, 15% of the X9 servers have some noVNC problem, which we are solving now one by one. If you need a re-install, then please forward me the ticket and I'll arrange that this gets done for you today.

    V4 (idrac-8) with the migration to OpenWebStart does not work either...

    No tickets, I managed to set up this server with the old noVNC.
    Let's fix this 15% first.

    Same. Almost 2 days have passed after they offered to install the OS, because NoVNC never worked.

    Two servers have been non-functional since August 6th (rental start date). Despite reinstallation attempts failing due to incorrect BIOS default settings, the problem has not been addressed or resolved by anyone to date. noVNC still n/a too.

    So inadequate scrapyard - can't fix many weeks their s**t of previous customers and posts their "great sale offers!" for new dudes.
    In tickets they answers once per 2-3 days and half of their messages just waste of time "try it
    \try that". May be they drunk 100% of the time.
    @VPSSLIM i will comment every thread you create in future to defend customers from you.
    SAY SOMETHING TO US WHAT YOU DO AND WHEN IT WILL BE FIXED!

    @Nuke142 Have you noticed that the ticket closes itself?

    It is so funny:
    This is a notification to let you know that we are changing the status of your ticket #XXXXX to Closed as we have not received a response from you in over 120 hours.

    If you think the last reply was from support in that ticket and I keep silent, then no, the ticket closes itself after 120 hours, regardless of whose reply was last.

    Don't worry, let's solve the problems described earlier.

    It's not difficult for me to bump tickets.

  • Okay, guys, I bought one more v2 for 24 euros.
    So this time I am feeling lucky:
    1) noVNC works;
    2) Succesfully installed Alma9 from own ISO;
    3) Got 128G RAM and 1x2T SSD (I will prefer 2x1T lotto but anyway);
    4) My eth was "eno1", some settings for future users.
    If your IP is 193.3.189.XXX then:
    Your netmask will be: /26 (255.255.255.192)
    Your GW will be: 193.3.189.129.
    5) Seems that IPv6/64 via ticket (already raised).

    Kool. How did you get almalinux installed with iso? I have random luck with novnc so would like to give it a shot once

  • @plumberg said: How did you get almalinux installed with iso?

    1. Add ISO via link (in my case 9-min https://repo.almalinux.org/almalinux/9/isos/x86_64/AlmaLinux-9.6-x86_64-minimal.iso) in
      Portal Home / Client Area / My Products & Services / Product Details / ISO Images (in left column) and wait for "finished" status.
    2. Then run noVNC
    3. In VNC click Virtual media > Virtual Storage.
      Open CDRom & ISO tab, in file explorer, go to client_iso/NN_youriso, then choose *.iso file.
    4. Click the "plug in" button and reboot the server (via VNC or via panel is ok).
      Installation should start (otherwise, press F12 for the boot menu and choose the boot from CD option).

    My noVNC on this server "blinking" but still I can click and enter some text. About 15 minutes of blinking and the OS is installed.

    Do not forget to unplug iso after installation.

    @VPSSLIM can I cancel the previous broken/never-installed server and get the money refunded to the VPSSlim balance (for future purchases/renewing services with you)?

    Of course, send me a PM.

    @plumberg said: How did you get almalinux installed with iso?

    Thanks. I see that the novnc is continuously blinking making it difficult to make a selection via gui. Do you use a different method?

    No) it blinks but it works. Keyboard working, mouse work too but you should do double-triple click on button.
    I start with mouse but then just TAB/enter button via keyboard to select menus etc.

    In installation just do partitioning, network settings and root password. The rest via ssh after installation.
