I have a proposal for the Intel Atom D525 (Rapid Deploy 8GB) 64GB SSD+1TB HD
Instead of $39/month, i will pay $7/year. That should help offset the cost of it idling without a buyer till the end of time.
Small annoyance regarding the "Servers deployed in under 10 minutes" claim.
Maybe I missing something on the website but additional IPs requested on the order form are not provisioned at the same time as the server. I placed an order early today and went to complete the configuration this evening when I noticed I need to submit a ticket/request for the additional IPs to actually be assigned and a separate request for IPv6.
Not a huge deal, just annoying.
Appreciate that. It was actually out of stock for a while before this.
Thanks for the feedback and for trying us out. We aim for it to be a simple request through the panel but additional IPv4 always require justification.
How have you requested IPs in the past?
Other providers I've used have provisioned them with the server. To your credit, support was very helpful and got the IPs assigned promptly.
The single IPv6 address was a showstopper though. Granted, I should have checked but every dedicated server provider I've worked with that offered IPv6 was able to provide more than a single IPv6 address per server. Even most VPS providers offer a /64.
This will be a (private) VM host, so I need to be able to have IPv6 routing to each of the VMs as some will not have an IPv4 address assigned.
I probably should have done a bit more research but the daily deal was well timed as I'm trying to locate a provider in the NY/NJ/VA region.
I can purchase 6 units, are there any additional discounts?

that's what I did to hit the 7900 w/ ECC RAM instead - with today's discount. Lucky me
as I need ECC for db operations integrity and can live with the smaller RAM amount.
Both are good models but I can't go with 192 non-ECC.
Not sure if that was your intention, but if not, you would have to honor the whcms "hacking" tricks of your clients (no real hacking was involved, just creative handling of whmcs).
