How long have you had your server on Kimsufi?

Can someone here tell me how many years they have had their kimsufi server since they acquired it?

Comments

  • I did keep one server for 3 years back in the days. The current ones are KS-LE-B and C so not that long. I suspect I'll keep them, the LE-B at least, for many years, unless OVH does something crazy in the mean time.

  • 1-3years depends on how OVH push deals on KS/SYS-LE

    I have a KS-1 since 10 .Jul 2018. :)

It's not the strongest machine :) but all resources are "dedicated". It perfectly do the job for I need. And I'm happy with it. My plan was to replace it with a KS-A (or similar offer), but i was not able to grab one :/ And they haven't any similar offer at this time. So I will keep it until i can.

I can't let go this server even if it is 57.99EUR/mo ex. VAT.
When I rented it it was a SYS-6-SSD-128 but nowdays is KS-6.
I won't tell you why I won't let this server go but I can attach a recent iperf3 test:

I've had my KS-LE (original version) for around 4 years now. Just after I got that, I cancelled the KS-1 that I'd had for 9.5 years.

Until OVH drops a better deal.
KS-B still rocking, KS-MYSTERY took its place.

    No changes until @OVHcloud drops a KS-MYSTERY v2.
