I'm seeing a pattern after all.. HMMM

  • Meanwhile in China, VPS providers not only requires a phone number, but also performs mandatory phone number and ID validation before you can buy any of their products

These threads have pointed me in the right directions and I now know who to consider, perhaps even who to buy from. But more threads on similar topics will hopefully give me and others who stumble upon these threads in the future a broader selection to choose from, at least that's my hope :-)

  • Seeking provider that does not require any payment, just let me use for free and can confirm and pin it without java script.

Just input whatever you feel like to as a phone number

I don't think any provider dials your phone number. you can input any fancy number. Unless they send OTP/SMS text to verify. But its not with LE providers. Yeah, Godaddy has this if you enable 2FA.

We don’t verify phone numbers on signup. If you’d prefer not to use your real number, you can simply enter something like 5555555 and it’ll work fine.

Some random number will do, until they actually want to verify it.

You can put the yoursunny summer host phone number: +46 766-86-84-36

Most provider don't require a valid phone number...only if you need 2FA SMS or something like that.
Just enter any phone number there and should be fine.

My understanding is that when I agree to the TOS on most providers it would state that I am responsible for keeping the information up to date and failure to do so would indicate a breach of conditions and allow the provider to suspend my VPS at any moment if I am not able to verify the phone number is my own. While in reality this doesn't happen with most providers it still gives leverage to another party that I feel wouldn't be necessary, hence why I am asking. I also thought presenting yourself under false information when entering into a contract with a provider was illegal, does this not also pertain to the phone number?

Nobody ever, has suspended my VPS or anything because of outdated info.

Somebody will, when they need a plausible reason, suspend your VPS or whole account because of outdated info.

If a hosting company, looks for a reason, to kick you they find one.
To be aware that this info is outdated, it would have to be verified first.

Nobody, its going to kick your ass, if your phone number is outdated.
