Cheapest Dedicated Server that you found?
in General
Just out of curiosity, what is the cheapest dedicated server that you found?
Not considering the specs, not even if it's worth it, just the cheapest bare metal server.
Here are my findings just to contribute a little:
Scaleway - Start-2-S-SSD:
Intel C2350, 4GB RAM 120GB SSD
€4.99 /Month
Nocix:
Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM, 250GB SATA
$9/Month

That's still in stock right now?
It appears to be, yes.
As per online.net / scaleway order page there's 42 servers in stock
Nocix got stock too
Currently active/available dedicated server, or all time best?
If it's the later, my best was probably that OVH 2 euro server from years ago.
Won't this be very low on performance?
I mean are you looking for ones that's still in stock? Or you want to know what's the all time low?
Oh sorry.
It's just curiosity, may be in stock or something that was offered as a promo long ago.
All time best is this, unbeatable and non-disputable: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/3158520/#Comment_3158520
Core i5-2400 - 4GB RAM - 1TB HDD - 10TB BW - 0.95 EUR (10 NOK) PER MONTH
Of course the quantity is 1 only
Yes and it is still the most unbeatable dedi today
@beanman109 any thoughts on this
Right, the same price as Netcup 1o but it's even dedicated server
online.net 2EUR(3.44EUR now)
Not cheapest overall, but https://www.rajamitra.co.id/dedicated-server-iix/ seems to have the cheapest in APAC. $24 (excluding setup fee) per month in Indonesia.
Is not frequent to know this provider, but here is
https://www.firstheberg.com/en/dedicated-server
Is a good alternative for who looks for cheap dedicated servers, it starts from 12.99€
Start-2-S-SATA - bestseller
Victim of its own success
1x Intel® C2350 (Avoton) 2C / 2T - 1.7 GHz
4 GB RAM
1 x 1 TB HDD
Up to 2.5 Gbp/s unmetered
I have one from Scaleway for €2.99 and the uptime and network has been phenomenal
Over 9 years + uptime and I had to restart for os updates last year
I have this server for almost 2 years... never a downtime. that says a lot since Tier just had a 2+ hour outage just yesterday at their manhattan data center.
I found one from @GorillaServers

Dual epyc (48c/96t), 256GB RAM $99/mo seems pretty rare
This exact model costs 2 euro per month back in they days in 2018, as well as the 1TB HDD version. I had like 5 of them in my account and cancelled them sometime 2021. Good old days
At 5 euro range it's not a good deal any more. You can find many $7 yearly VPS outperforming this relic Atom server.
That's really impressive
I wish I had gotten one of them before they increased the price, now it's 9 euros for the 1TB model.
The annual ColoCrossing deals are a great value
Does $5/mo colocation count? https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/205352/colos-dedis-and-storage-at-microtronix-dc-ohio-free-ddos-protection-unmetered-bw-up-to-100g#latest
There are some that offer Raspi hosting as well. i.e. https://www.mythic-beasts.com/order/rpi

OVH KS-A
Online.net Atom
DataIdeas RPi (deadpooled)
M y im have strong dedi but nothing deadpool cheap
cheapest i have is probably the $100 per year for an undelivered 5700u
An old thread and some providers are still alive: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/110232/huge-list-of-dedicated-server-providers-under-20/p1
KS A
I've still got an ancient KS1 (Atom, 2G RAM, got upgraded to 2T when the original 0.5T died) grinding along. It might finally be dropped as I rearrange things in the coming months (it is mostly being a backup location ATM, that can be done even cheaper, with faster cores for encryption/checksumming/compression/other, on a VPS, where the storage isn't a single spinning failure magnet).
Does online.net require an ID check?
wow.. that's dirt cheap from online.net/scaleway!
This isn't even a remotely good deal, are you just trying to astroturf?
