I have two tickets in a system:
1) #139823 from 23jul about very first server is n/a (139), that solved within one day (you changed it to 138 and reinstalled again), then i closed it.
2) #911499 7aug i create in august about possibility of lowering price for first server (138) because i started it's rent just before ESTDEALJUNE25 code is released. Here i choose first server. Here you ask about how much servers i needed then you stoped dialog.
Few hours later same day 7aug i reopened #139823 where i mention about n/a of two new servers (139 (again) and new 140).
Then for some reason 8aug you answered wrong ticket (#911499, about discount ask) so the dialogue went wrong way and first server reinstalled. I don't see my fault here.
I think that VPSSlim should not just reinstall OS but fix root problem.
What can I see:
When I click "NoVNC KVM Console", it opens a new tab where Java is trying to download the file https://10.100.0.101:443/liblinux_x86_64_V1.0.5.jar without any success.
VPSSlim claims he can reinstall by himself, so theoretically, VPSSlim stuff <> 10.100.0.1 IPMI should work well. However, the NoVNC proxy and server are stays disconnected.
So, imho, at least VPSSlim should check telnet between NoVNC and https://10.100.0.101:443.
Maybe the server is actually not 101 but something else, so NoVNC tries to connect to the wrong IP, who knows.
UP:
Just checked: my freshie v4 DELL in 10.100.0.x subnet too, and Novnc works great.
So seems that there is a problem with a specific server, not a network-level issue.
IPMI KVM's Java programs are developed and tested on a specific version of Java (e.g. Java 6 or Java 7).
When you run it on a completely new version of Java (e.g. Java 8, 11, 17), the program may not start or may run incorrectly due to API changes, deprecations or different internal implementations. So maybe it has something to do with that, I'm not sure.
Do you refer to "client-side Java" or "NovncProxy-side Java"?
I mean, we are not directly running this Java applet, as I can understand, java executing on this noVNC proxy.
If we just download "KVM Java Console" we can see that this applet try to connect 10.100.0.x (internal net).
NoVnc cannot be used normally, KVM cannot connect normally, the system cannot be installed normally.
Ticket #408704
Google says that supermicro forgot to attach liblinux_x86_64_V1.0.5.jar in their firmware and we should use x86 version of java (proof)
But the problem is that KVM is behind Novnc, so we (as end-users) can't directly install java_x86.
So, I'm confused too. If it's the same agent, how can there be normal and abnormal. They all use the same proxy.
IMO different IPMI versions on Supermicro.
For example, your server has liblinux_x86_64_V1.0.5.jar applet and our no.
Mine DELLv4 generally uses a different applet than Supermicro.
And I think that @VPSSLIM can manage that Supermicro IPMI because he has access to 10.100.0.0/24 and connect via "KVM java console" rather than "outside and noVNC KVM Console".
@Nuke142 @SashkaPro @xmhk Were you able to get a solution?
@gtz How many of these promotional servers do you have, and are they working perfectly for you, including OS installation?
Not yet. In the ticket, I was offered to choose OS, but I want full IPMI access so I can install OS by myself with a custom partition layout, etc.
Hopefully the problem will be resolved soon
nope
If I'm to be honest, I think no... Because the solution (not a workaround) is to update ipmi version on each broken server.
And for the 24 eur/month deal, I don't know...
I assume they offered the deal after thinking it through, but I’m highly disappointed with how they’re handling the situation.
• No billing date adjustments based on the delivery date.
• Promising 24/7 technical support, but in reality, it’s the most unhelpful support I’ve experienced in a long time.
Anyway, this is LET, so I guess it’s always a 50/50 chance between barely usable and stable service.
Most probably. Had to downgrade in our test to java 7 as well. Looking into it more.
Right, it's not on all servers this issue. Investigating and solving this ASAP of course for the affected clients.
We always try to give the best deal possible for our clients and are always appreciative on clients who have some patience in this matter. Due date will of course get extended.
As for me, no problem, take your time.
I bought the [2x Intel XEON E5-2650v2 - € 24,95]
I got more RAM and more STORAGE than I paid for, very happy!

I tried installing Debian 13 from ISO, but network would never work.
So I installed Debian 12 from panel and upgraded to 13 using process below.
The automatic OS installation they did, it never worked at start.
So I had to get to to work myself, this is what I did.
I used noVNC KVM Console. (I used the one in panel, I couldn't get the one in WHMCS working).
I couldn't get Java Console to work (The one you download).
I went into BIOS.
Under Boot Tab
Set Boot in this order.
Under Advanced Tab > PCIe/PCI/PnP Configuration
I did this
Network stack [Enabled]
IPv4 PXE Support [Enabled]
Under Save & Exit Tab
I did Save Changes, but didn't reset.
I left BIOS open.
I went to WHMCS and initiated OS Reinstall.
Went back to BIOS under Save & Exit Tab
Clicked the network card in the Boot Override that matched the network assigned to me.
Then the automated OS Reinstall started and I watched it progress and complete, now I am happy customer.
Ordered a server late June, had VAT issues when paying, received a non working server, and after some back and forth over multiple days, I received a working server. But after I installed it, I noticed the specs were wrong (weaker CPU). Since I couldn't use the server with the weaker cpu, I decided to kindly ask for a cancellation and refund instead. Hostslim agreed to refund and the service was terminated.
Over a month later, no refund has been done yet. (Ticket #332728)
Guys if you have an issue with ipv6 on dedicated and your IPv6 something like this:
2406:17c0:0:4:7ed3:aff:RNDM:RNDM try this gateway:
2406:17c0:0:c::1
This works for my dedicated but for my VPS which has
2406:17c0:0:4:216:3eff:RNDM:RNDM
c::1 does not work.
To understand what IPv6 address you were assigned, check ifconfig with default settings (ra, dhcp enabled)
how to solve this error during Ubuntu install? spent 4+ hours in bios

Update: I figured out a way to install the OS on the servers, but without the network information, I still cannot use them. I opened a ticket and also sent a DM on LET requesting the network details, but I have not received a single reply in almost 24 hours. To clarify, neither WHMCS nor EasyDCIM includes the network information.
Also, I’m still waiting for a solution or a proper response to the other ticket about the OS reinstallation issue, even though I’ve already found a workaround, as I mentioned.
You have your IPv4 in the first two emails when the server was activated, one from EasyDCIM and one from WHMCS.
try with
Mask: 255.255.255.0 (/24)
GW: .1
For example, one of my servers is 193.3.189.X, so GW will be 193.3.189.1 and mask 255.255.255.0
Another one with 69.12.83.X so GW: 69.12.83.1, mask 255.255.255.0.
But maybe it will be better if you tell us how you installed OS.
Hi, network information is shown in Easydcim and on your whmcs page. If you have you ticket ID for me I can look into it. You also received an email with the server setup and IP settings.
Stop should we (as clients) have access to EasyDCIM?
When I click "Log in to panel" blue button I got this error (right part of screenshot).

Yes most possibly your account needs to be manually activated. If so, then please open a ticket and it will be activated.
Where? Do you mean IPv4?
Where is the netmask and gateway information?
I thought the same and already tried it.
Nah, don’t worry. Just wait, they’ll help you with the OS installation.
lmao, thanks a lot.
Anyway, I will give you advice: why do you think that your network adapter is eno2 and not eno1?
I know you aren't talking to me, but mine was eno2.
I read some info sent to me (panel, whmcs, or email) I forgot.
It said IP and MAC address, when I checked eno2 had the same MAC address.
