Looking for Testers: 1-Click Open Source Deploy [50€ Coupon]
Hey everyone,
We just launched our 1-Click Deployment feature on Nodion, which allows for deploying popular open source projects with a single click. We currently support 4 regions (Frankfurt, Washington, San Francisco, Singapore) and I'd love to get your feedback! Since this is a new feature it would be great to get feedback in general, UI/UX, workflow, if you noticed something strange, bugs, etc. This helps us with ironing out early issues and bugs.
In return we are happy to provide a 50 EUR free starting balance. After signing up you can head over to the top right, click on your name -> Account -> Billing and use coupon codes "START10" and "DEPLOY40".
›› Please click here for a general overview which apps are supported
Some examples:
- Run Umami or Plausible, great self-hosted alternatives to Google Analytics
- Run Docmost or Outline, clean collaborative wiki and documentation tools
- Run Twenty, a modern alternative to Salesforce
- Run Glitchtip, to track errors, uptime, and performance of your apps
We are currently working hard to add new open source projects, if you have suggestions please simply let us know, we can prioritize if possible.
If you have any questions please feel free to write me a DM, open a ticket or reply to this tread.
Thanks a lot!

Manual review needed will dm my email
Registered. Pending manual review...
Your account is approved, thanks for your help. Pikapod is similar, but completely focused on running open source software. We are basically a regular PaaS service that just added those 1 Click Open Source capabilities.
how to do this test?pls active my account: zghongc
thanks.i will do some test and post this test in my blog

I am a lazy guy - how long those credits last for aka what it is it for me?
Can I deploy that collaborative wiki and run it for 3 years?
For your list of suggestions:
https://oss.medama.io/introduction - self-hosted alternatives to Google Analytics
https://docs.planka.cloud - self-hosted alternatives to trello
https://uptimekuma.org - another self-hosted uptime checker
https://about.gitea.com - self-hosted git alternatives
Edit: under a manual review
It depends on what you want to run
Umami for example would be around 5 EUR per month, so the credits will last for 10 months. The wikis usually require Object Storage which we charge per GB, so it depends on usage.
https://convex.dev/ - Alternative to Supabase (not many has it, would be amazing to see it supported)
Thanks for the suggestions. Sadly those all require fixed volumes, applications currently have ephemeral volumes. We are working on volumes, it will take some more time.
Are your managed databases using some replication (between AZ/DCs) etc. to avoid data loss in case of an incident?
Love the UI and the concept

SSO/OpenID Provider
There will be a bigger update soonish, that adds Standby Replicas (Master/Slave in the same DC) and Read Replicas (Can be added in other Regions) and some other db related features.
Like the idea.

Your account should be approved by now.
Thanks for the feedback in general so far.
@nik dmed you my email. please approve
Done, please let me know if it worked
It requires manual review. I have sent you a private message.
Please don't use fake addresses and a VPN. Those accounts can't be accepted.
Site is not mobile friendly. Have to do it all on desktop including access your account.
You don't have to
my account is pending review (p*****[email protected]), not using any VPN.
What is this CMS ?
The website should be fairly mobile optimized, the application itself is not, since we don't expect ppl to manage their app, dbs, storage, etc. through a smartphone, but maybe we are wrong. If there are issues please provide me with a screenshot per DM. Thanks
All pending accounts should be activated now, apart from users who used a VPN with fake address.
I usually manage everything from my phone including almost all of my ssh sessions, but I don't think that's usual.
I even write my docker compose files and edit configs from my phone. I usually don't bother to open my computer unless I'm migrating services from one server to another.
Btw, the best I've seen for mobile interfaces are, I think @hosthatch, @NameCrane, and @kuroit
Interesting, thanks for sharing. We will optimize it to a state that it's "usable", but editing compose files from a smartphone sounds wild
Need manual review, about 2 days now. Hope will accept.
