Sounds like a keeper
This is a typical situation for rescue case. If the business model is inadequate, it is impossible to expect that it will continue under a new owner.
What you need to really think about is the resources you have been given.
For example, bandwidth. Are 25TB really what you need per month? If not, and usage is not exceeding 4TB, then you may want to check the next resource.
During the migration, technical support is of course important, and living without an answer from the support for several days is a bad practice, especially when the new owner immediately changes the old plan's terms and prices.
When you talk about conditions and prices, do not forget that this is likely a rescue operation, and the alternative could be the complete loss of important data by customers.
Look on the bright side. Now you are not happy with this, and you will be looking for new offers and leave them asap. And they will be losing another customer.
I feel like we need to repost every 5-6 posts that there wasn't any rescue, they bought some hardware and noticed some user data and kindly (or not) turned them on then offered people a way to become customers.
To clarify, PureVoltage has nothing to do with this except that they bought hardware from the dead company?

I'm not happy my data was extracted in a hardware sale. imo this is not legit acquisition behavior. this was just a shady attempt at acquiring more customers.

Hm, I believe that, for customers, this is a rescue operation. Each acquisition, unification, or merger causes risks for customers. We weren't happy when NetDirect was acquired by Leaseweb GmbH, because, even with great support from LeaseWeb, we lost about 50% of our dedicated server customers.
Of course, there might be differences in each case.
We have done two acquisitions in our history, including one with hardware purchasing. We did not change our plans or prices for customers in the first year. Until now, we have had customers who are still on old plans on our virtual hosting (7 years for now).
Stability has gone downhill since Aquatis acquired EasyVM. My VPS has crashed twice in two weeks now. Node ' NYC-KVM-2 ' in case anyone is interested.
