I want to clarify that I purchased the VPS STANDARD - OFF-1 plan on November 4th, 2024, with an annual billing cycle, as clearly shown in my billing overview:
Recurring Amount: €9.00 EUR
Billing Cycle: Annually
Registration Date: Monday, November 4th, 2024
Next Due Date: Thursday, May 1st, 2025
Payment Method: PayPal
Given that I paid for a full year of service, the suspension of the VPS before completing the annual period is not my fault.
I did not receive proper access or sufficient time to migrate my data before the suspension. Therefore, I kindly request a solution—either to restore the service for the full period paid or to issue a refund for the unused time and the loss of important data.
Thank you for your understanding and prompt response.
I understand that warnings were sent regarding the data migration. However, my question is:
Why was my VPS service suspended before the end of the paid annual period?
If I paid for a full year, I expect to have access to the service for that entire time or at least a reasonable chance to act before suspension.
Suspending the service prematurely without clear and effective opportunity to migrate data is unfair and causes loss.
Please provide a clear explanation for this early suspension.
Another great Deal from DeluxHost, thank you guys!
Excuse me, but don't you have a backup of your data if you explicitly mention it here? Don't get me wrong, problems can certainly arise with any provider, but the offer threads are not there for several people to draw attention to their problems without even opening a ticket.
With another provider, whose name I won't mention, I received a message at 10 p.m. saying that I had two hours to back up my data, and then the server was reset. That was incredible.
I have a total of 7 servers, 9 with the two newly ordered ones, and not a single one has been suspended.
I already have an open ticket, you read my problem correctly, right?
I said the vps I contracted was suspended before the year was up.
No problem guys, we are here to help everyone with maximum transparency, @sucre13 was very polite and understanding when explaining his problem. It's nice to have customers like that.
We can certainly reactivate your service and give you back the lost time, but not your data, unfortunately as mentioned the warnings have been sent and this is a situation from months ago, not of yesterday, so recovering the data would be impossible.
The suspension certainly occurred (I try to imagine what could have happened) a few days before the move and the total deletion of the data, to make customers aware, of what was about to happen, since unfortunately not everyone pays attention to emails and various warnings.
If you still open a ticket as mentioned, I will be more than happy to help you personally and find a common solution, this is actually not the best place to talk about it.
So we can also better understand what happened.
You sent the announcement but you do not specify why my service was suspended. If you did a migration, the VPS should have been there. I already told you that I already sent a ticket. The truth is, I do not trust your service to save my data. Why did I not report this before? Because you were asking me to renew the service in May of this year, knowing that I bought a year, that is why I attached photos and left you the sticker number so you can see the record of your system. It is not my fault but yours and your system's.
I bought a service from you. You should improve your billing system. The VPS is not available because the service was suspended early. It's not my fault. I imagine your billing system has a record of your clients, that's why I left you the ticket number and the images mentioned in this post.
Why was my VPS suspended before the end of the paid annual period?
I understand the warnings and the migration process, but since I paid for a full year, I expected the service to remain active until the period ended or at least to have enough time to act before suspension.
Suspending the service prematurely caused me to lose important data and affected my projects.
Please provide a detailed explanation of why the suspension happened before the end of the service period.
Honestly, I think I've said it all. I have no intention of continuing a discussion under a post that has nothing to do with anything.
I ask you for the last time to open a ticket if you need help or clarification, otherwise, I wish you good luck for your future.
Have a good day 😄

Hi, Tor exits allowed?
It is as long as it's complies with out Terms of Service.
I have tried 3 different credit cards now, all in different continents, and not one of them was accepted... Maybe you can accept SEPA payments??
Hello, Have you tried opening a ticket yet?
Is it possible to setup VLAN?
First, are you familiar with Tor?
Your TOS are clear.
Let me ask this instead - how much do you (or whoever you're renting from) care about your IP address reputation? How do you handle abuse mails, do you terminate after the first abuseipdb report? Are you familiar with exit nodes?
It's an anonymity network, illegal traffic will inevitably come through, but remember you're not liable for it! So the reports are mostly harmless but still scare providers.
Invoice 3053 ok
Got it to work! > @DeluxHost said:
Opened ticket #LWQ-270752
So, server was terminated at 1st or near early May. You realized that server is offline 3 months later. You opened a ticket 3 months later asking for a refund and/or restore of the data.
And yet, you claim that a $9 yearly dirty cheap vps was carrying your very valuable website and their backups, you lost important data, you are suffering of significant problems and all that stuff vps contained was very critical, yet you did not have backups offsite and it took you to realized 3 whole months!
Even if it is poor management from their side to terminate at 6 months a yearly vps, even because they moved locations (they simply could move vps to a new location with a message to user, if he did not want the new location, to have the choice to opt-out with a refund), you as customer lost your credibility in LET either claiming about the critical staff to a service in this price range without even a backup, or lying about how critical was the staff in a extremely dirty cheap vps...
We like and buy dirty cheap services here in LET. We know that it maybe disappear next day, or perform like we were in the '00s, or having not at all customer service, or the host will get bankrupt before even the summer comes.
It is dirty cheap and will be good for as long as we can use it. After all, at ~$0.80 per month, even alone the ipv4 address is costing more in the market. Blah blah like "I paid for what advertised and did not receive it" is BS, because it is like buying from a random guy waiting the bus a valuable clock for $10 bucks as "bargain" and then, when got home, realizing that it stopped working just after sweat from arm got into the case! And yelling, "but but but the guy told me it was legit".
TL;DR
If you have critical data, do not host them on a $0.80/m vps. Or, if you do, keep backups. Offsite. On other companies. Constantly. And when original service face issues, carry on.
@jvnadr You couldn't have said it better.
@DeluxHost Are you planning on getting a C-4 set? It's the only one out of stock and I need 8GB of RAM.
Not for now sir.
