Looking for 8 Core VPS in Exotic European locations. 400gb NVME
I am looking for a host with at least:
10,000 Geek Bench 6 MultiCore Score
16GB Ram
400+ GB NVME
2 IPv4 addresses
Budget 20€ ±4
Locations like Romania are preferred. Germany has excellent deals but there is an admin that hosts in Frankfurt on LET that said something along the lines of "if you exceed the bandwidth I will check what you are doing on your VPS". I therefore don't trust Frankfurt or Germany as a whole to be honest! So exotic locations that respect privacy is a must!

It would be unfair to rule out an entire country over one hosting provider being bad...
Germany’s BND (Federal Intelligence Service) was exposed mass monitoring allies and citizens for decades. it is hardly an outlier. Their hosting laws enable ‘Störerhaftung’ (operator liability), forcing providers to police users. Combine that with mandatory data retention and a history of compliance with dragnet surveillance (e.g., PRISM leaks), and Frankfurt’s ‘excellent deals’ come with hidden costs. Preferring Romania (or similar) isn’t paranoia. It is avoiding a jurisdiction where privacy is a paperwork illusion.
Please post any VPS deals of something that suits my requirements.
The "Störerhaftung" is not longer a thing anymore since about 8 years now, and also never applied to hosting providers since access and hosting providers always had liability privileges defined in the TMG.
Germany is also one of the countries in Europe without a mandatory data retention (Vorratsdatenspeicherung).
In the entire European Union, including Romania providers needs to follow a "Notice-and-Takedown" rule. They are not liable for anything you do if they are not aware if it. They are not required to snoop into your data (we are not allowed to do that in the first place) or police you in any way. They become liable however, if they notice illegal activity, for example if they receive an abuse report.

BND got caught spying on allies. Romania’s intel has zero scandals
German hosts censor activists . Romanian ones protect whistleblowers

yes 400gb NVME is a must. The budget doesn't need to be exactly 20€ it can be plus or minus 5€. I am checking out your hosting website right now and I will get back to you tomorrow. I do have some questions indeed ( second ipv4 and reverse DNS) .
