  • You can get a scaleway stardust vps (1gb ram, 1vcpu, 1gb local ssd) for around 0.25 euros per month. It requires a little tinkering because they won't let you set anything below 10gb for the storage but you can simply boot up the server with the recovery image and dd an alpine iso onto it. I forgot the specifics but I've tried it once and it worked. If you search hard enough on nodeseek you can find the tutorial.

  • useable for what ?
my basic were at least 1c 1g mem 20g disk 1tb bw
yes scaleway stardust were ok except the disk, but you can add block storage & they count hourly for every resource you use so you can add it then delete when not needed.

Yeah, it's essentially Chinese lowendtalk. It's pretty interesting to look through but sometimes translations get a little wonky so it's a little hard to understand if you don't know Chinese.

All I see are discussions and transfer offers. Are deals registration-only? Not a fan of having to use Telegram (ick) for an invite code.

Oh nvm I guess they just have more casual discussions than here. https://www.nodeseek.com/categories/promotion Idk if it's just GTranslate being weird but why do they talk so much about big cock and chicken.

China has the most netizens in the world, so it's a normal thing.

chicken / big cock is alias to vps, because the sound of vps is the same as chicken in Mandarin .
