Is HostDZire Sustainable?
Honestly, I have some concerns about this provider. Limited quantity flash sales were understandable. But now, with open and seemingly unlimited sales(IN CloudVPS #5 ( FAT32 Special )), the situation feels risky. Either they’ll run into serious overselling or operational issues. Given the current pricing and specs, it no longer seems like a question of profitability — it looks more like a path toward collapse.

Are you sustainable, @Kerger? Probably best for you to direct your concerns to your reliance on ChatGPT.
@HostDZire what do you think?
The supplier said he liquidated the old hardware to upgrade to the new hardware
Old hardware still has hosting and power costs. The way they’re selling it, this batch looks like a loss right from the beginning.
They've been in the market for quite a long time. Judging by that I think they know what they are doing.
Iirc they have explained before that they have plenty of resources and want to sell out their older nodes so they can buy new hardware for storage oriented setups.
But I do agree that at this point it does not feel like a "flash sale" at the revised price point (even though the specs are awesome) because it is easily available. On top of that they added new rules for these sales which now feels unnecessary and like a penalty to new users who couldn't get them the last time they did such a sale.
However, I am happy with the performance I am getting so no complains from me. I personally look forward to their storage servers.
From one of their thread, I saw they show that India node hasn't been maxed out yet so I think they're just trying to max it out and move one to deploy new hardwares.
I agree with you. If $ 32 for paypal payment is not refunded, no transfer, it is better than $ 48. However, with that configuration, It is impossible to be defeated (if not included new rules)
Thanks for the explanation. Just feels like the price-performance is unusually high this time, and with stock coming nonstop, it's a bit concerning.
Do you own it, just a little curious
I don't have any of their IN VPS.
I've just start becoming customer about few days ago on a dedi.
It is true that it is no longer a special flashsale anymore, but I hope it still maintains its stable performance as the original
Wow, Dedi is so wonderful
Yeah I'd prefer a non-transferable $32 deal over whatever this is because I'll actually use it. Once I am done I'll cancel and they get to free up some space, win win.
As for performance, only time will tell but I feel they will maintain performance just fine.
First people complain about not getting the deal
Then people ask us to add more stock of that deal.
Then again people complain why we posted more deal.
They start to concerns for your business lol
Well, it is known for a fact that you simply can't please everyone
People tend to compare offers based on the cost of living where they live, but this is not how things work. HostDZire made cheap offers in India, a place which is cheaper not only in workforce, but also in cost of living. These offers came within a context where Russia made agreements for cheap energy with India, while China wants to have good relations with India, likely bringing a tax reduction in server components. All this makes India a great place for low-end offers.
The agreements which EU and US are throwing to the bin (with regards to cheap energy and resources of Russia), India is there to take advantage from, and this is how things should work when it comes to any business. There is a saying: one man's trash is another man's treasure. I do not wish to politicise this thread, but in my opinion this is why we will likely get to see lower and lower prices for servers in India.
Good luck with your business HostDZire and I hope you will have success! Early bird should always catch the worm.
yes,i trust he is CHINESE MJJ
Help us
@Kerger I think you overestimate the number of people who want an indian vps. I'd guess a majority of anyone who want a vps in singapore or japan or hong kong are chinese users who need to jailbreak out of their country, or people who want websites for people in china. They don't want a vps in India because it's far from everywhere. Most likely, the people who bought indian vps are either hoarders or local Indian users. The hoarders will be idling them, and having idle vps is better than having no vps with zero revenue.
Huh? Why is this happening? Is this a split personality?
Us civilians just shut up and buy at the price the product is sold at. Worst case they could do is increase the price later with a 30 day notice cuz inflation. Why do you or I need to worry about if its sustainable or not. Just keep backups if you're worried they'll go bust.
Every time I see an em dash, I assume AI. Most people would have no clue how to make that character on their keyboard.
Em dash aside, this sentence structure just feels very ChatGPT.
We like @HostDZire — carry on good sir!
Anyone complaining that too many tickets were sold is definitely a scalper.
Those trying to get tickets aren’t necessarily scalpers — they might be genuine fans, or perhaps scalpers who just haven’t managed to grab any yet.
Somebody link this deal that made @HostDZire seem unsustainable, it must have been a killer and I wanna see what I missed!
OP mentioned the FAT32 plan.
First I really feels like I should say sorry about this... it all started as a joke as I am a little bit bored with work and it is already like 2am for me.
Here's the specs:
It was supposedly to be a 50 people event (where 50 people tries to get the 5 limited FAT32 special deal), but it ends up selling about 30-40 instances of such deal because @HostDZire is too drunk and forgot to set quantity limit, so everyone should be happy.
HostDZire additionally helped to release a few more limited stocks to some of the members here, which roughly adds up to about 50 instances sold. A while later, HostDZire joined a similar hosting community and offered about 50 more instances as far as I am aware.
During the process, some other variants of it was sold (From range of $48-64), but the quantity is not known. And just a few days later, there's a round 2 on both platforms after gathering 200 likes and another 20-30 was sold at price of $32/yr.
So in total there's probably about ~120 of $32/yr sold and unknown amount of $48-64/yr sold. I feel rather sorry because this is definitely losing money and hope that they can recoup it back from other means.
I have seen them being attacked by people who didn't managed to get it and poor Trustpilot reviews just because of that. Thanks HostDZire for the craziness and hope people can stop bothering them because that amount of insane deal is not really seen of. Please understand that provider have no obligation to make unsustainable deals.
Hope they can profit from other services as a leaseweb reseller.
If really needed I can refund some of the deals to return the resource to the pool as I was just planning to idle it anyway.
