Grad a cheap usb Stick on eBay And plug in into your raspberry pi
They are really cheap
Thanks, was a great deal. Hoping for a Cloud Server deal from them one day.
Hi,
well... i ***ed up a bit ;-; So again delay of delay. Should have been this month, but did not consider my noob stupidity... so another ~ 2 weeks.
In the meanwhile, totally different topic and completely useless for storage requests but feel free to test the new introduction of 9950X3D in france:
https://login.layer7.net/index.php?rp=/store/cloud-server-france-par1/amd-ryzen-9950x3d-server-vps-france-par1-test
BUT, and thats again storage related, i bought some Dell EMC PowerScale stuff for testing and IF this would work with NON dell/EMC drives THEN again we would have some nice options available with higher speed
) ... well well fairy tale thinking... lets see
Interesting, what price are you thinking for this 2 core 4gb 80gb config?

We will also have to update the website and stuff.
Everything is possible in dream🙏
looks great
Hi,
yes, this is the first product where we will actually change a bit the strategy when it comes to IO limits.
Before we defined a maximum limit of how much a VPS can use, regardless of real available IO.
Now we will give every VPS full access to IO and define a minimum that is available.
This way people will still have a defined minimum they can rely on while having access to more if there is more for them.
With local storage you can do something like this. With network storage thats not really possible. So we make now in future a difference if its local or network storage.
The budget is too small, as bandwidth and HDDs + IPv4 address cost money.
That's a good ask, I'm sure someone could hook it up.
You’re the one hooking it up
Ya I can hook it up.
You sir, are a great man.
That is a great idea. I already did this. It is my home NAS. Only I went a little bit lower and used a NanoPi.
I will take one too , if possible
Wait. Is that a valid offer? For real? We can get that?
I'll consider your post a kind of joke.
5TB for $5
Buy a USB Stick , install localhost with a static IP address and install LAMP. Leave the computer on 24/7
Why? $5/m*12 = $60/y You can take @DediRock 2tb for $27 x 2 = $54/y for 4tb +17 for 1tb = $70 for 5tb, if @DediRock make only one vm with 5tb, it can save $10 on two vm's. I believe it is possible. But bandwidth.... Anyway not a joke.
1-2 years ago, < $2/TB/m HDD is already insane
Nowadays people are asking for $1/TB/m HDD
Times have changed.
Save the cost of IPv4
This is not something special, actually it is, but, I mean not ultimate special, like 3tb for $15. You can take it right now for $6/m for 5tb (in case of yearly deal) and plus you wil get 3VPS. $70/y ~ $6/m in case of @DediRock don't wanna merge this 3 VMs, you can create ceph claster and will get 5TB. With double bandwidth promo for 3 VMs it will be 18tb of bandwidth per month. Very good deal. In cost of Tb it will $1.20/m
PS And @HostDZire yesterday announced some "storage" specials, coming soon. Maybe you will lucky.
$1/TB with a VPS that actually works is very special. I think HOST-C has just made people forget reality with some insane deals
A two years ago, I bought 2Tb of iDrive E2 for 8€/y with 24€ renew, but after a few month offer were changed to $48/y, now it $49 first year and $99 next.
