Registration for Oracle Cloud Free Tier VPS
Hello everyone, I am a student from China. Recently, I've been struggling with the high cost of server renewal fees. I came across information online about registering for Oracle Cloud's free VPS and tried it, but found that it doesn't support China UnionPay credit cards. However, applying for a Visa card is very complicated and I keep failing in the application. May I ask if there are other ways to obtain free VPS? If so, please leave a comment below. I would be extremely grateful

It can only be used for one year, and I'm currently using it, but the performance is too poor

Yeah Oracle's verification can be a pain.
What are you requirements and what will you be using it for? If you can spare a few bucks I guess some providers might offer a deal since you're a student. Good luck!

You can use some of crypto credit/debit card like (kast/redotpay)
( i don't know if it's work with Oracle)
Don't feel too sorry because even if you manage to register you'll find that getting a free server form them today is an even bigger headache.
And in fact I still would have some "room" left, but OP is way outside of my basic requirements, sorry.

Even you have Visa or MasterCard , you wont get approved easy.
OC reject alot of legit cc nowaday and even if you able to register, not likely you get a provision since trial user pool already got abused by fraud, and harder on high demans region like Asia. Upgrade to PAYG require manual verification and fund depo so good luck have ~200$ in your cc

It's region/architecture specific, some regions have plenty of resources whilst others do not.
