Anyone using Enhance Control Panel in production?
Hi everyone
I've been testing the Enhance Control Panel for the past couple of months with a few internal client sites, and so far it's been working quite well. However, I haven’t seen many providers using it in production yet, so I’m curious if anyone here has real-world experience with it.
Some things I really like about Enhance:
Clean, modern UI that works well for both admins and end users
Modular architecture – I can run web and mail services on separate servers, but clients still manage everything from a single interface
True account isolation out of the box, no need for CloudLinux
Native incremental backups included (a big plus)
- Licensing model works well for scaling across multiple VPS, rather than relying on a single large server
I’ve also looked into Webuzo, which seems decent, but for someone working solo like me, I find it more practical to run a few smaller VPS across different providers. That way, if one host has an issue, it doesn't affect all my clients at once. Enhance’s per-site licensing model makes this approach much more feasible compared to per-server licenses.
I’m considering using Enhance as a cPanel alternative for future deployments, especially for small to medium-sized businesses where flexibility and simplicity are key. Before committing fully, I’d love to hear from anyone using it in production:
Is it stable enough for live environments with paying customers?
How has your client experience been?
Any issues, limitations, or gotchas to be aware of?
Thanks in advance for sharing your experience.

Already tried, most customers from Cpanel didn't like it
also we never were abl to achieve same speed on website benchmark and general client feel on Enhance than with cpanel-directadmin, it was slower, maybe because it was docker.. not sure now.
@meditatingsurgeon using it on production, iirc.
I myself is early Enhance user but didn't get satisfied experience. I heard they left docker some time ago, maybe things get bettet now.
Some provider here like @AspireHosting are offering hosting with Enhance control panel.
We are also using Enhance panel for clients and so far its been great and no issue till now
No, I'm still waiting for them to support NodeJS, then Python, and go deployment, or at least Docker support, so I can make my own reverse proxy. There's OpenPanel as well, I'm waiting to be stable, that based on Docker, currently, they're full of bugs despite many features.
For time being, I just use hestiacp and customize it to be able to have Redis per user, clone a site & database, and PHP settings per domain.
I've been tracking Enhance for a while, and would very much like to use it, but there's still a number of basic features missing such as brute force protection, proper spam management (last I checked you can't add a custom RBL without it being over written on the next update), mail rate limiting, email piping, being able to change the default TTL in DNS zones (so basic!), IPv6 only, password protecting websites in the GUI, a better backup system that can exclude sites/files, etc...
What surprised me is they prioritised integrating PHP 5 over any of the above, but then I assume this was done to satisify the need of much larger hosting companies - which makes sense for the business.
Their forum is lively though, I would recommend you have a browse through it.
