Don't worry - you'll forget all about the anxiety from waiting once it's delivered.

Considering his good reputation here AND that he hasn't been on the forum in a few days, I'm guessing he's working thru building and delivery of all the orders, which I'm guessing will be no small task... Personally, I'd rather he ignored the chatter here and the "where's my stuff?" tickets in favor of getting it all done, but maybe that's just me.

My understanding is that he's a one-man show... now, we can debate whether or not offering such a good deal meant risking a "hug of death" situation for him, or we can just take a breath and let it ride for a lil' bit ... He did say 2 weeks, and we're just at that point now, and even if it takes 3, it's still a good deal AND I'm reading that renewal date will flip to 1yr from delivery date (vs from order date)...

I agree, patience is hard. Everything's gonna be OK. Have faith, compadre.

The problem isn't delay but yes communication is necessary, no matter how busy he is, it won't take a minute to reply (now you'll say how can he reply all , he can just put update on this thread itself)

    Hello, all.

Yes, I've been busy. I've been dealing with quite a few things. I'm sorry on the delay on the servers but the fact is the shipment is delayed a bit and I really apologize but everything is still on track other then the provision date.

Today I was dealing with a couple surveys/meetings to have a new circuit installed to finally fix the network instability/slowness. We've pretty much selected who we want but waiting on contracts now then the time it takes to pull permits and run the fiber here. ( Zayo wanted $250,000 just to splice the fiber to come here sheesh 🥺 ). Our current provider is absolutely horrible and have delayed for so long now and I'm excited to move off them.

A few days ago we had new redundant cooling installed and this weekend we are picking up a few more racks and also having electricity ran for them. Possibly building all the servers then too, we shall see soon.

    Hello,

Sorry for the wait everyone, I just got off the phone and they'll be here Wednesday. So give me a few days to build everything out & test so expect provision around Friday-Sunday.

I'll be updating the billing dates to start when I provision and I'll also be adding a extra week for the troubles.

    Thank you all.

    Hi,
will the dedicated server be accesible through KVM ? Can I directly access its root through ssh without openvpn etc. ?

Still not provisioned, was told it will be done till 20th ,

Now he doesn't even bothers to reply (yes he's online on this platform)

I have 7+ dedis with Nuyek, and ordered a few more with this deal. Stuff always gets provisioned, and a few days of delay is almost expected when doing a preorder for a bunch of hardware like this. Just be patient, it'll be worth the wait.

I don't have problem with delay (if mentioned) if the communication is clear , I was told 20 but nothing after that

Pretty sure it's just one person, I'd rather have him working on delivering servers vs typing updates. I'm sure we'll get an announcement soon though.

    Paid on 07.08, nearly waste a month which ≈ 22$ ....
It is really really really slow.

Tiananmen Square was a huge massacre of peaceful people, and Xi Jinping looks like Winnie the Pooh. Taiwan is the real China.

    lol
I fail to see how what you're saying is relevant to me buying a server and caring about the service I paid for ?
And by the way, did you buy a product from Nuyek???😂
