IIRC it was stated that the 500 GB boxes cannot be upgraded.

Haven't received a follow-up email yet, so I assume it is still ongoing.
I was migrated 1-2 weeks ago, it's in the works.
You'll notice when it's happening for you, but if you need to know more just open a ticket. They can't give you an exact time for obvious reasons but a ballpark figure should be possible.
What's the new address to access the ftp1 DA panel? I forgot about this and deleted the e-mail..
This, note that the ports are the same and the control panel doesn't (or at least didn't) redirect so you might have to append :2222 manually
How long does it take to migrate one user? I haven't received any email about migration completed since my first backup error alert on 21-nov.
The prognosis I got was around 24 hours. Pretty sure the issue you are experiencing is not related to the move, as long as you've updated your settings (IP/FQDN).
Definitely open a ticket.

I created new storage and point it to the new host ftpde1.hostypanel.com.
Ran check job and it finished successfully.

That is correct; as stated in the original e-mail no individual notice is sent out after the migration is completed.
I would also have liked to get one, but it seems like it's a pretty big process and with these special offers I guess that they cannot use their regular contact methods.
As I monitor all my servers I got notice of the downtime instantly; I sent a ticket at 20:31 (That was at most 15 minutes of the service going unreachable) and Hetrixtools started receiving data again at 15:00 (as they round to nearest hour) which means it took around 18½ hours.
For the insanely low price we pay and on top of that upgrades for free I can't exactly say that I'm dissatisfied :P
