Looking for EU Storage Server – 128GB RAM, 50-100TB – $100 Budget
Hey guys,
I’m looking for a storage server in Europe to use as a backup node for my hosting business.
Here’s what I need:
- 64-128GB RAM
- 16 cores
- 50TB to 100TB storage (HDD)
- 1Gbps unmetered
- Budget: $100/month max
I came across GorillaServers 112TB deal at $99, and I love that kind of offer, but I’d prefer something EU-based with good uptime and reliability.
Would really appreciate your recommendations or any trusted providers you’ve used.

€150 is fair for Hetzner’s quality no doubt. But I’m really trying to stick close to $100/month for now as this is just a cold storage / backup node. Uptime and reliability matter, but I can sacrifice a bit on CPU brand or disk speed to meet budget.

If you are okay with removing unmetered bandwidth for 50TB, then you can buy a VPS from @layer7 with 8 cores (amd epyc, shared tho), 64GB RAM, 120GB NVMe and 50TB HDD (location in france) for around 100 euros (101.99 to be exact). Hope that helps you!

Maybe @layer7, however i doubt that if Hetzner do not offer such pricing, somebody will, again, unless you will not pay upfront for example for a year.
Tried iHostArt before, but had to leave due to frequent downtimes. Looking for something a bit more stable now.
Actually, I just came back to LowEnd after a long time, used Layer7 before and had a decent experience. I ran their UK-based NVMe VPS for my personal sites for almost 14 months without issues. Will definitely check them out again and see if they can help me with a solid backup server. Appreciate the heads-up! 🙌

Yeah, fair point Hetzner really sets the standard. I’m OK with a yearly contract if the offer makes sense. I’ve got backups to manage for 8 servers, so everything goes into that backup node. Just trying to find something reliable without going too far over budget.
