Need an APAC dedicated server
Howdy
I'm looking for something along the lines of:
AMD Epyc 7B13 or similar
256GB RAM minimum
2x 7.68TB NVME or equivalent
10Gbit port with 2Gbit commit (660TB)
In Singapore/Malaysia/other key APAC region
Datapacket has a very nice offer but going direct with them I can't get a 10G for burst which would be really useful unless I pay for the full 10G commit. The only other host I've seen is Advin which I have already opened a ticket with
Who else?

You can also check with https://www.ipserverone.com/. I'm not sure on their price but may be they can do something.
@ruben @webhorizon
i've been informed datapacket will give us the full 25G and just bill 95/5 so will ask their sales for a quote as well
@advinservers
@mw got this available in Singapore:
AMD EPYC 7502
512GB DDR4 RAM
2 x 8TB NVMe
10Gbps Network Uplink
Price: $400/mo
Can work out 660TB commit on top of the server.
Please DM me or @ManishPant if you're interested!
DM'd you
already have a quote from Advin they were my first choice, i have this weekend to evaluate others
$600 for 1Gbit 95/5 in APAC is good right?
Pretty decent depending on the location.
It's one of those crappy things local traffic is typically super cheap but as soon as it exits the country costs start to raise quickly.
Godedicated (Globalsecurelayer) has Singapore location, maybe they can offer this configuration.
They also have 10 Gbps Singapore dedicated server with unlimited traffic for only 487 usd monthly: https://billing.godedicated.com/order.php?spage=product&a=add&pid=276
not actually unlimited traffic, it's some FUP bullshit.
https://zare.com/dedicated-servers/tokyo
maybe something for you?
Otherwise GSL/Godedicated come to my mind
I think that the bandwdith requirement is just hard
Would you consider Hong Kong? We have our DC there and could make this happen.
For now we've gone with Datapacket as their prices are quite attractive and their network is great. I'll keep you in mind once we start adding additional regions in APAC
Datapacket doesn't have India, who here can do 10G for less than $1700/Gbit in Mumbai?
And for the rest, I've started sending out messages/emails if your offer was attractive, I appreciate them!
btw if anyone has Australia proper (no NZ) for less than Datapacket quoted me ($1440/Gbit) please let me know
Hello,
I think we can do 1Gbit 95% for $1700
For 10G we can do 10G 95% we can do $15000
Bandwidth we can do either TATA, Airtel or JIO
Or mix of TATA, Airtel, JIO
Sent you a PM
Sent you a PM. Bulk traffic in AU is no issue.
@mw we can offer 10g unmetered in apac india for 1300$ per gig/mo .
What 😮
It's mix traffic right ?
Including peering ?
no its pure.
Now this is unrealistic.
No carrier provides that price in India.
Even cogent which recently launched in India don't have this price.
TATA, Airtel Jio etc. don't have this price.
Webwerks, oneOTT, Worldphone etc who often sell at low price also don't have this price.
MPLS to Singapore don't have this price.
Assuming if you connected carriers in Singapore.
So, the only option left is you have lots of free bandwidth, so it's better to sell at very low prices than to have a loss.
Or you are just overselling it.
Please don't get me wrong.
What you said is just unrealistic,
If you really have that price, share a bit more details about it.
I might be the one who will buy 10G from you
Can you also share me your AS ? i am bit interested now.
What does Cogent charge for 1/10G in India?
Are they present only in Mumbai, or got other locations within India?
They live in Equinix Mumbai.
They are preparing for other locations as well, but given no ETA for that.
@HostDZire sure we can help with your 10g connectivity. i think you know our india network very well as you are already our peer . yes we have a lot of free bandwidth approx 100g bandwidth which we have subscribed with all exchanges in india . and we have significant subscribed international transit with sify and various other mpls connectivity. for better understanding you can check our peering db https://www.peeringdb.com/asn/152565. we are present at all major dc's in india and have very heavy subscribed bandwidth
Okay, now i know who you are
Some of my clients told me about you few months ago.
I didn't knew you were in LET too.
I checked you joined recently, Good Luck
Apart from that,
I dont think we are ? are we ? when did that happen ?
I am not interested in Mix, i mean just tell me about IP Transit.
I see you are connected with 10G in multiple exchanges. eg: AMS-IX, DE-CIX, NIXI etc.
But when it comes to IP Transit, I see you are connected with Webwerks ( Airtel, TATA, JIO ) Just like us.
Another is Sify
But one more is AS215828 not sure where you are connected with them, maybe announced AS somewhere else too outside india ?
I am interested in your capacity of IP Transit.
Tell me regarding that. I dont think you have 100G in IP Transit combining Webwerks, Sify etc. if yes please clearify what is your ILL capacity with Webwerks, Sify etc.
If we take 10G from you, will you provide us Mix of IP Transit Having
Webwerks ( With having TATA Airtel JIO )
And Sify ?
Because when i asked if traffic is mix or with peering, you said its pure which i found hard to believe.
So i think you were talking about Pure ILL without any peering, exchanges etc right ?
How do i contact with you directly ?
This is my Telegram: HostDZire
Can we discuss ?
@HostDZire
wanna go 50/50?
No
But you may take directly from him.

@mw dm your requirements in detail we can directly have good offer for your 1g or 10g requirements
So first i must apologize,
JoyCloud had given correct price,
I misunderstood it, i thought he gave 10Gbit Unmetered price at $1300
But he actually had added $1300 per gig, which i missed it while reading
So all the comments posted above by me was based on $1300 per 10G price.
After discussing with him i came to know he actually mentioned that $1300 price is per 1Gbit.
Which is correct, this is the price of IP Transit in India.
Some might have a bit less, some provider might have bit costly price. all depends on volume.
So whatever price @joycloud44 posted is correct and its not un-realistic.
@mw I think you also misunderstood it ? because you were saying 50/50

So just to inform you, its 1G price not 10G
