it's not even drama it's just dumb, the op specifically calls out positive reviews in the title and i don't see positive reviews mentioned anywhere else. should be moved to idiot category.

Let me explain what happened : HostDZire recently held a flash sale event on NodeSeek, which was well-received by most participants. However, one user feeling extremely angry after missing out on a trade, left an unreasonable negative review on Trustpilot under the username "NodeSeek." This unfairly harmed HostDZire’s reputation, so the moderators organized a small campaign encouraging users to leave honest and objective reviews to help restore the host’s standing.

While offering "chicken legs" (a small forum reward equivalent to a day’s activity points) as an incentive may have been debatable, the campaign’s intent was genuine. I sincerely apologize for any misunderstandings this may have caused.

The vast majority of MJJ members are kind and positive, but as with any large community, there are bound to be a few bad apples. Please don’t let the actions of a small minority shape your view of the entire group. Thank you for your understanding.

As I said, the review is unreasonable and not objective. So of course no.

what i don't understand is how ONE negative review on trustpilot can harm a reputation of a 10 year old company? and why would moderators of some forum even care? what's in it for them?

even most reputable companies on trustpilot are choke full of extremely negative reviews, together with lots of positive ones, of which many are obviously not sincere. which is why i almost never even look at trustpilot, it's just not reliable, IMHO.

very rarely when i visit it, it's always that some company is outright scammers (5 worst comments) or best company ever how have i missed it so far (5 best comments) the very reason i stay away from trustpilot, and keep my sanity :D

HostDzire made a post saying he was really hurt by that 1-star review. There was a system issue that caused the order limit to be exceeded by a lot. He could’ve just canceled the extra orders caused by the bug, but instead, he chose to activate them manually to show goodwill.
And then someone — who didn’t get what they wanted — hit him with a 1-star review like some kind of blackmail. That really upset him.
We see HostDzire as a friend. And since that person left the review using the Nodeseek forum’s name, it made us a bit angry too.
So we decided: that guy doesn’t represent us. We just want to express how we really feel. That’s it.
I don’t believe people from different countries can’t understand each other — basic human feelings are the same everywhere.

Yes we did something, that something is not giving promo to everyone who didn't able to order it :D

    They are those users.

Now this is what fake review looks like.

  • We’re just trying to comfort a friend who’s feeling down. He went out of his way to bring us the highest-spec, best-value server deal Nodeseek has ever seen. We don’t want him to feel like he got hurt by a bad actor from our forum while the rest of us stayed silent, just waiting for others to figure out whether that 1-star review was fair or not.

The so-called 30chicken legs — once you collect 1,000 of them, you can trade them for a Nodeseek forum invite to get a friend in. That’s pretty much it. Of course, you can also just skip the drumsticks and apply directly for a free invite. They're not a big deal.

it's fascinating they'd go to the effort over something so ridiculous.

edit: making the fake reviews i mean.

ok, i can relate, still... business and emotions don't mix, while this shows their utmost care about customers and their image, it's still important to keep head cool and spend your energy on good customers, not waste time on one bad... at least, that's my 2¢ (not a provider)...

ok, i understand now, i somehow missed the detail that they used your forum name, it makes much more sense now, thanks for the explanation!

and thanks for finally showing what the original trustpilot review looks like. this is what i can tell you, i would skip it in a matter of milliseconds without reading even half of it. every sane person would do. because it just doesn't explain what the real issue is, what is it exactly that made that person so angry to leave negative review made by AI, obviously.

so bloody correct syntax and grammar, and yet exactly ZERO information value... pure junk

From what I have seen, @HostDZire has shown repeatedly that they are an honourable provider that goes above and beyond for the low end community.

I don't give my money to just provider, and I recently ordered from @HostDZire due to their conduct, amazing deals and great reviews.

I am sorry that @HostDZire had to go through this, we all should really support the outstanding providers that are around, lest we lose them.

P.S. I tried to tag @HostDZire as many times as I could in this post, I don't feel like four times was enough.

Obviously his main intention is not to make clear statement or discussion but just to fan the flame. Tell part of truth can make people confused.

And it's not hard to think about those deliberate destruction on trustpilot...
"oh I can beat this merchant so easily and get revenge"
"make stabs in the back can arouse conflict between them"
"laugh in a dark damp basement like a rat"

There are some bad guys on earth who take abnormal pleasure in seeing and making other people hurts.

It's not worthy to take care on noises and noises.

You deserve good mood everyday! @HostDZire <3

  • I think this type of lunacy should just remain on nodespeek. I'm a chicken nugget enjoyer anyways.

this is the Internet, full of a lot of garbage and false information. There are always some people who make up some false facts to deceive those who don't know the truth. As for the "chicken leg reward", well, whatever, let time prove it

Only real users can give fair reviews

tagging @yoursunny because chicken legs mentioned

We only ever received chicken legs from 5Q .com , a social network for college students.
When they initially launched at our university, there are raffles every day.
Winners of the raffle would receive a voucher for a fried chicken leg, redeemable at a specific window of the school cafeteria.
In total we received three chicken legs for participating in these raffles.

Paying for reviews on TrustPilot is against their policy and I neither engage in it nor recommend it. But also, fuck TrustPilot and what they want. They're one of the most subtle extortion rackets I've ever come across, fully capable of convincing most people that they're not one. It takes a high volume of interactions with them to figure it out.

    What a pile of BS!

Fact is that @HostDZire explicitly wants to know any negative points too. And indeed I never heard a single negative remark from him, not even a very politely worded one, regarding any not so great points in my multiple benchmarks of their products. Quite the contrary, they even explicitly asked me to please clearly mention anything that I find unsatisfactory or where I saw potential for improvement (wrt the 2 VPS I have from them).

Short version: HostDZire is neither stupid nor short-sighted and has understood the value of honest feedback and wants it.

Let some MJJs make noise as much as they like, I don't care, I care about facts and based on those I've come to highly value HostDZire and their products.
