Dartnode The good, the average, the bad.
Honest review:
The second option I chose in this world of VPS servers and the like (I've only been here a short time). I took advantage of a post on LET.
**
The good:**
They had this promotional offer:
https://dartnode.com/vps
VPS-3
I thought this offer was great, so I ended up paying 14/yr (USD). Honestly, the regular price seems very expensive.
I like the control panel interface; it feels modern. Of course, not at the level of Hetzner, which other providers should give their pages a facelift (in keeping with the times; if you're using Netcup, I'm looking at you).
Overall, the VPS is running well, and I always check the status of the services: https://status.dartnode.com/, and although Uptimekuma doesn't seem to keep a record of past failures, it seems to be in good health.
Performance is good

They also offer backups (up to 3 on this plan).
The truth is, the technical support is very friendly and listens to their customers. They try to respond as best as possible. I hate those technicians who give you copy-and-paste answers. The human factor should never be lacking.
Due to a mistake I made, my VPS was suspended, but they were quick to listen and restored my service.
The average:
They only have one data center managed by them in Houston, Texas, which limits the variety of ways you can migrate your data to other locations.
The control center doesn't have anything to tell you if your VPS is up, running, or down. More tools are needed.
The bad:
I read at the time that many people had problems with some nodes, but it didn't affect me at all. If it happened to you, please tell me about your experience. Except for the regular price, it doesn't fit my budget.
I honestly don't have any such negative points, and no!!! I'm not getting paid.
*They have a 1-week refund policy.

Comments
wen @iHostART review?
They recently lost data of some customers, I wrote about it here. In the ticket they apologized but I have never received any formal communication from them neither they posted anything here, which is strange in my opinion.
I've noticed they don't really interact here beyond posting the actual offer thread.
The first couple offers there were 2 or 3 of them constantly responding but since then I've asked questions a few times that they just didn't respond to.
So I crossed them off my list to try out.
Their offers were pretty good. Personally, I did not lose any data since I am getting into a habit to backup everything + there was not much anyway on that machine. However, their silence is a bit strange. I guess they are fine for small amateur projects.
These comments are good. I had no idea the scope of some of the problems.
Yes, I hope to be more connected with the LET community. It's worth supporting prospective projects.
I also got one of the $14/yr dart plans. I was initially on a node that had some issues. I was moved to a second node which also ended up having some drive problems. I was moved to a third node and after that point everything was smooth. Only issue I ended up having since then was upgrading Alma 9 to 10. The leapp upgrade kept failing, but I figured out I had to removed the nvidia drivers that were causing the failure. It worked after that. I've not had any complaints with it otherwise thus far.
It’s coming tomorrow!!
